In case people don’t know, Zak was one of the top 5 fighters in UK comp and had the most win streaks in UK with Sagat back in the vanilla days.
It also seems the execution mistakes were caused by the TV lag since a lot of people were missing links (one of the videos said this).
The last matches against Ryan Hart’s Ryu were quite heartbreaking since it seems Ryan Hart had literally downloaded Zak’s Claw despite losing in the Winners final.
@Chuck- I think you need to work on your offense. Too often did you just push them away instead of trying to do significant dmg. There were like no counters (CH, FA, grabs, kara. etc) on the viper match. Try to mix up your moves with lp alot more so that you don’t get pushed so far away all the time. U1 is invincible to flame kick btw if u didnt know.
For Ibuki I prefer SC because it can stomp on her kunai vortex depending on how she does it, and it is more useful in general. Also I can see you don’t know that match very well. Learning the MU helps. So I wont really comment on that match.
Also, keep working on the combos. They help a lot.
thanks man, I really think i choked in the Ibuki matchup, I beat him literally 2 mins earlier. I really noticed how when i was playing Viper i hit alot of empty pokes that could have followed up.
