awesome tournament.
montreal crowds are fantastic. i had a blast…
i just wanted to thank the following people in general:
veasna, arcade kid, pts1, freddy…always the coolest bunch. TALK PAS SHIT!
plus a bunch of people i met: gwai lo, karamba, ranaku (WHAT A BEAST!!! dont watch my youtube match against him…he made me look stupid), wilddestroya, aznretro, rene, lars, 1hitcombo
plus all the people that came from toronto and ottawa.
i’ll definitely be at mat 2k8, and i hope to see a ton of old faces at t8.

to all the people that i didnt get a chance to money match, i’ll definitely take em at t8. im not backing out of any, its just there was barely any time.
gg’s to everyone that i did get to play, i got 100% better at marvel (even thoi still suck hehe). cvs2/3s were so beastly too. NOTE: i blew 3s sooo bad. i hope to redeem it at t8.
montreal has some sick cvs2 talent. its given me incentive to pick that game up again.

LOL Good games veas, they were really close.

Great tourney as usual. More money matches than I’ve ever done in one tourney, but it definitely made it more fun. We’re approaching a US marvel crowd, but still not.

3S was nuts. Parry, parry, parry, then the other guys parries everything, then the other guy parries everything… Then somebody whiffs a super just to parry the punish so they can do a hard punch. What a stupid game, I love it.

It was mad chill and fun. Too many good moments. Was nice to talk to peeps from T.O. you’re all mad chill and peeps from Ottawa also, nice to associate srk name with faces and real names. Hope to see u guys at next MAT, you all fun to chill with and are all beasts.

Played out through all my money matches even though there were some that were scary to play, didn’t get to play Quan though, dunno who he was but anyways see ya guys at T8. For anyone that wanted a MM/grudge match/revenge MM with me mirror match or just regular 2/3 or 3/5, i’m up for it at T8.

One of the more classic moments for me was when I was chatting up with i can’t recall who but we were discussing about how normally when people first meet, they introduce themselves, whereas the Alex/Arcadekid way of introducing himself was to walk up to someone and say “Hey, wanna money match?” or “2/3 10$?” which a few seconds later happened in front of us :rofl:

Fun tourny had a good time nice to meet all the montreal players and great to see all the ottawa players agian.
Xmvsf was played on laptop framerate sucked but meh. Was rushed Narith and Martin left half way through it but from the top of my head it was

i should get partial credit for karamba’s “putting-R2-blanka-first” tactic vs phoun.

It was a great time, +1 on freddy’s comment about the cvs2 tourny…though i think it was cause it started much later than any of the other games.

I think only 2 of the 4 were working 100% I hate 360’s for fighting games and I’m pretty sure they were 360’s. Not that they weren’t nicely built or anything.
