When you make a bracket, you have the power to set up your own opponents, perhaps unfairly, to your benefit. I try not to compete in brackets I run, so there’s never any question of bias. It’s just something I do. That said, in Ottawa, and we’re short people on a bracket, I’ll join just to fill up space. But generally, i’d rather not run something and compete in it. I know phoun made the 3s bracket and competed in it and nobody had a problem with it, I don’t think anyone would have had issues with me competing in Xmen, but like I said, I had a 16 man bracket in my hand, with 16 players signed up. I would have been the 17th and it was just easiest at the time to not compete.
OMFG. ETHICS??? I didn’t know who made the bracket. You dont have to be someone special to make brackets. Its a simple method. You take the 4 best players and then you place the next top 4 so that they arent playing the 4 best first round then fill it by region from there. How difficult is that @_@. It has nothing to do with ethics, if someone thinks you scammed the brackets tell them to fuck off. Curt scams every CvS2 bracket ever and no one says shit!! lol I’m just joking curt.
