Bethesda don’t sell their games on its story and how progressive it is. They are fun sandbox games that let’s you do whatever you want and shower you with rewards for exploring it’s world.
Bioware is putting Mass Effect on ice. The mixed response and reviews not being good enough is the reason for the decision. Bioware’s Montreal studio being demoted to being a support studio https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAIOFHFg_Lc
I don’t really blame them for the decision. Montreal didn’t make the original trilogy and they just kinda picked up the reins for Andromeda. Then they took a pretty successful series and majorly damaged it’s reputation by botching a brand new release which turned into a limitless meme machine. After a release like that even the most diehard ME fan might be hesitant to cop the next entry. This is probably just a play for time so that way people can forget about Andromeda.
Which again is too bad because Andromeda has been really good so far. The exploration factor alone kicks ME2 and 3 in the balls and the gunplay is so fucking good.
Cora’s VA seems to be recording additional lines which hints a DLC. Anyway this video highlights some of the 1.06 changes. It looks like they fixed the eye tracking. Also they’ve done some additional work on the facial expressions. Makes Sara look a lot less derpy.
Mass Effect 3 was fantastic. You just need to heed the warning from Marauder Shields and stop playing at the very end. He tried to protect us from the ending. He just wasn’t strong enough.
Also Andromeda might be okay now, but the launch window was a buggy, quality control absent, humongous mess. Outside of visual issue and cutscene problems, there were also many game breaking glitches that could completey end your playthrough
No that’s not true. I’m tired of hearing this. ME3 was not fantastic. There were fantastic moments but the game was uneven at best. The story was meh, characters lacked consistency, the quest log was broken, the quest allocation system terrible, most of the ME2 cast was inconsequential, etc. etc. The only thing that was fantastic about ME3 was the gameplay. The thing I hate most about the terrible ending of ME3 is that the focus on its inadequacy helped foster this false narrative that game was great except the last 10 minutes.
I 100%ed it a while ago and I’m prob in the minority where I really liked the game.

Epilogue with the Quarian Ark and the other Milky Way Races inside definitely got me intrigued, I think I’ll do either a Scott run for NG+ since I did a Sara run my first go at it.
