Mass Effect 2. Somebody's getting shot and thrown out a window

In the scheme of things get both eventually. When all is said and downloaded you are looking at at least 60 hours of gameplay with ME2.

So I like how you can switch chracters in Dragon Age II on the fly. It would be criminal not to let us do that in ME3.

  • well played Furry King, it should be in Mass Effect 3. Then again, I’m sure the wish list for the sequel is Santa big as is and that’s probably there in the Facebook page’s confines. I’d love to see that in there, too. It’s an RPG, so there should be a right to use other characters in your squad.

  • I tempted to get onto Arrival, even though hype did figure it would be the bridge between 2 and 3. How dispelled. I just gave EA money for Dragon Age II: Bioware Signature Edition and I’m mixed emotioned about getting owned almost every battle I’m in. Especially with four characters. Arrival is sounding good so far, though.

I got Arrival ASAP, goddamn EA.

It was okay. not LOTSB great but okay. nice ME3 tie-ins. And you’re solo most of the time.

Still fuck EA. If my PC could play ME1 back when that was out, I would have pirated the series just to not give EA money. But I dont feel like going through over again without some hella mods.

Kasumi’s saving THE PRIIIIZE for Jacob.

But heah I wanted her for my male Shepard.

Pssh Jacob is a thing of the past.

Yea, I gotta say that Arrival is “alright”.
No doubt the worse DLC mission so far.

Shadow Broker, no need to explain how awesome it was.
Overlord, some may not like it, but overall it felt worth the price regardless how short it was. The Final Boss fight for that mission was perty epic, and the story behind how the lab got over taken was quite interesting.

Arrival had no cool story or anything really awesome happen.
Sure the last part is a big “oh shit” moment, but nothing as crazy as the other DLC missions.

Overlord was my favorite of all the DLC. Arrival was okay. I enjoyed it but it was mostly fun from a gameplay perspective, rather than from a story perspective.

I really, really love the boss theme for Overlord.

My only worry about the boss was that I wished he had more health so that the battle lasted a bit longer.

^Me too.

Funny how the DLC had better bosses than all of Mass Effect 2.

I’m not a real fan of Overlord. I might’ve liked it better if not for the contrived vehicle sequences.

LOTSB…do we even need to say more?

Arrival…yeah, it was okay. Knowing how exactly the Reapers are gonna show up makes things nice…not to mention…the action you have to take. It’s supposed to effect ME3 so…yeah, I’m gonna assume the Batarians aren’t gonna be very friendly.

Jesus, dude. Calm down.

For me, Arrival lived up to the hype. Sure it was only 1.5 hours long, but what do you expect from Bioware’s DLC for this game? LotSB was around 2 hours tops even on insanity. And think about…this was the most combat heavy DLC for ME2. It probably would have been extremely tedious to add in another hour of fighting batarians. Also, I loved the soundtrack. I’d say Kasumi had the best soundtrack out of the DLCs up till now…and it’s a plus that the same people who did that soundtrack worked on Arrival. For me it was just enough to whet my appetite for what’s in store for ME3.

In that case, I guess you can say it was a good DLC mission, as it did what it was supposed to do.
My interests for MA3 was already high, seeing as how you’re gonna be forced to play it once it comes out after beating part 2. Arrival kinda shows you a “sneak peak” of what to expect for part 3 in terms of solving “the solution”.

Just confirmed that Gameinformer will have ME3 details in its May issue!!!
