lol… i can’t use wrex since I killed his ass for getting in my face in ME1
EA hasn’t told bioware what to do with this game, to my knowledge. Bioware listened to what people told them and applied those kinds of suggestions to ME 2.
I enjoy having to find guns and schematics instead of relying on a random number generator for my equipment.
imo.
I did not mind the random drops or Mako parts. I just think they inventory system needed to be improved, there was no reason why you shouldn’t have an option to list that stuff by part and level. The mako just needed to handle better, I would take the mako over scanning 100000000000000 planets everyday. That shit seriously gets boring after like one planet.
Real talk: driving the stupid Mako around almost single-handedly ruined the first ME for me. That shit was seriously redundant and retarded.
imo.
+1 for Mako hate. On planet side missions and on Virmire I used it as cover. Fuck trying to drive that thing around.
It was like driving a flying school bus without a steering wheel while missiles were being shot at you. I am pretty sure driving that stupid thing was harder than any actual mission.
imo.
really? thats not cool
whats the fun of finding the same weapon in the same place with every playthrough though
but that defeats the purpose of excitement when you play it through again
random findings = replay value imo
fuck the god damn mako. shit was terrible. At least with mining I can just turn the sound down and turn on my TV so I don’t get bored.
This is the same explanation that people use to justify playing WoW. I’ll let you think about that for awhile…
imo.
Well I finished all the N7 quests. Bored now.
people play WoW because its
no risk = high reward
easiest game ever made
my point is moreso why diablo 2 got so much play
thats random drops, no loot tables like WoW
and thats what i liked about ME1
Well you got lucky with ME1 then because the rest of BioWare games are not like that at all.
imo.
ya i know
i was hoping they would keep the blizz-style random loots
oh well, still fun game
Can’t they blow it up even if you’re out of it?
That would be true if the loot system was any good. The stats on the guns never change, and there isn’t anything unique about them. No reason to choose a Stinger weapon over a Striker.
Fuck easy games and people that especially say “I paid 60$ to finish the game not dying everytime and not being able to”. Might as well watch a movie.
which is why im also ranting about lack of stats
that was really a bad idea, why would someone complain that stats on a weapon in an rpg are bad?
yes i agree
Maybe you should be playing Borderlands instead? That’s got all the random generating goodness you want.
Unless you already have.
I actually like the new system, though random loot was cool, you could get the best armor and gear early on in the game and then the loot just became a burden. What Me2 does is now the weapons and armor and upgrades progress linearly with your character. You have to work hard at upgrading your weapons and armor all the way to the end of the game, money is pretty scarce in ME2 so its much more of a challenge to create a powerful character. Instead of going on a random side quest and finding the best gear, you now have to work at doing many more quests to get what you need.
Though yea the idea of only having a handful of weapons is lame, you can customize them to your specifications which is better than random loot.
