It is a pointless argument. But I make it my business not to start shit on this board unless someone specifically call me out or on a point. Otherwise I don’t post at all. But I made mine and I am at peace with the world.
Anyway, I won’t get to do a lot of things I wanted to in this game such as have the ability abuse my adept powers like in this first.
Can anyone confirm if shields have to be down to use certain adept powers like lift? And can you lift mechs?
You can use Lift/Pull on almost anything. I think you can even do it on giant enemies. I know that in the first game, Lift worked on Geth Armatures at full health and shields.
soooo, I got the single core fix (can’t load 720p videos & the game at the same time) and it works smoooooooth. All I got to say is, oh. my. fucking. god. RPG Game of the Year 2010 right here folks.
Just got the call from gamestop. No work tomorrow.
Nice. Barrier+Lift+Shockwave= Potential 1 man army. Can’t wait.
I read on gamefaqs (ugh) That you get a pool of “MP” rather than cool down time like in the first game so you can use certain skills over and over if you wished. Is that true?
And how useful is the robot orb of the engineer? Is it actually useful or just a pain in the ass to use. I’d like to go as an engineer my first play through but yellow said that hacking sucked.
The cooldowns of biotic and tech abilities are much shorter, which allows you to rely fully on them if you wish. I like that about the combat. An Adept can kill twenty enemies and not pull the trigger even once.
As for the Combat Drone, I’ve only seen a little of it, but it seems like it could potentially be absolutely fantastic.
Yeah. I love to be stratigic and flank enemies and the drone looks like it may make this a lot of fun. I just hope the areas you fight in are a bit bigger.
I haven’t played the first one. Will I like this game if I generally dislike anything related to Sci-Fi and alien looking things as well as gun gameplay?
You can try to find enjoyment in the role playing but if you generally don’t enjoy that either than I dunno what else to say. Role playing is pretty fun though, I love going around as a bad guy extorting money from people, double cross a double cross, lie, cheat, steal, murder lol it’s all possible in Bioware games in one way or another.
I have a question for someone who’s been playing the game for a bit, I just finish protecting the patriach in Omega and the blue chick mentioned some reward or something to scavenge in some planet. I ended up clicking past it and can’t seem to find the info stored anywhere. I’m just curious if not getting that reward prevents follow up quests in Omega from her. Really don’t want to miss anything, oh and if anyone happens to know the info to where this treasure is that would be mighty helpful too :]
