Ordering one of these things is getting to be a bit of a hassle. I hear the sticks talked about quite a bit here, so I decided to make a thread to see if anyone could help me. I called the number listed on the website, but it was disconnected. I also sent an e-mail a few days ago, but no one ever got back to me.
I’m not entirely sure how to deal with that order form they have, and even still, I don’t want to just send my money off to a place that I’ve never been able to contact anyone from.
On all of the other websites I found the stick on, they’re either out of stock or the wrong version. I’m want to pick up the regular sized PS2/DC one. Does anyone here have a Mas Stick? If so, how’d you get yours? Does anyone know of any way I can get in contact with the website or some other way I can order one?
I called them in January, and that number was still good. You can try 411 and ask for MAS Systems in Westminster, CA. Maybe they changed numbers because she works out of her home now.
I picked mine up personally when I lived in Southern California (live in Nor Cal now), but I was there during December and picked up a PS2 to Xbox 1 converter. Like doing local pickups to avoid shipping. =D
Ah, but the one he wants to sell has the 6 button layout and only a PS2 port. I need 8 buttons and PS2/DC ports. Thanks for letting me know, though! Sorry I’m so picky. =P
There used to be a website aside from MAS that sold MAS joysticks. They have a whole lineup of their joysticks.
Sorry I can’t recall the name of the website offhand. I’ve been searching in the Forum Search tool with no luck, but I know it’s in one of these threads somewhere.
Ha, that’s cool. I called and it rung this time, but no one picked up. Is there a way for me to order it without dealing with that crazy order form? It’d be a lot easier if the website had online orders, and I can’t see why they don’t…
Your best bet is to call and talk to the lady. Watch out though, sometimes she does not keep track of orders and you have to call to double check on your joystick. Call on the weekends, I’ve usually been able to talk to her between 1-5pm PST.
I ordered from them on eBay without any problems, it’s just that they sometimes don’t respond for up to a week (trust me, I got nervous about my order lol). But they came through, so their eBay outlet should be something to consider in the future if ever you want a MAS again. Honestly though, it’s best to get them through the people here, and they occasionaly do pop up in the Trading Outlet.
You should definitely pick up on the one offered in the link that networkingpuppy just put up.
