That’s not the case. There’s a reason he’s the US Military’s Arms Contractor. The only thing that didn’t work was the Ex-Wife, but supplementary material shows that the one he gave Rhodey happened to be a random dud and when used again, actually worked properly.
When it comes to weaponry, while he isn’t as imaginative or innovative as Stark, he does know his shit.

Just finished up Daredevil the other night. Don’t even know what to say, it was absolutely amazing start to finish. They managed to cram a shit ton of characters into it without it being corny. I was consistently surprised by how many characters I found more interesting than Murdock himself. Kingpin gave a hell of a compelling performance, especially in season 1, but Castle’s character grabbed me the most out of all of them. That has to be the most savage motherfucker from any Netflix original, period. Loved the jail massacre scene.
Choreography was nuts too, I can’t even put words to how AWESOME the biker gang vs. Daredevil scene was. Probably the best fight in the whole show so far. Which makes it even more impressive that the dialogue was just as compelling as the action. They did a LOT right with this show, I’m dying for season 3 to come out now.
I wanted to finish DD before I started Luke Cage, now that I finally have I was able to start the first episode last night. This show is gonna hook me too man, goddamn. The soundtrack alone makes it worth watching.
It’s really fucking cool that all these take place alongside each other. Stuff I saw play out in Daredevil has relevance in Luke Cage and vice versa. I’m assuming Jessica Jones plays into this universe as well.
Do these take place in the same cinmematic universe as Civil War and such? I have to assume they don’t.
