Marvel's Netflix Universe: Return of the Kingpin

I’m sold. Episode two has Rosario Dawson (my future bae) so I’m all about that Daredevil life.

just finished episode 1. so far so good. foggy is a bit weird in the acting but karen paige doesnt look whorey enough lol. outside of that no problems.

dat martial arts tricking life…almost sure i know the dd stuntman based on the way he moved alone.

Watching episode 1 now but I really enjoy it so far. Not cheesy but just the right feel.

You know Chris Brewster?

Got up to episode 5 today, I’ll prob binge the rest when I get back from work. I really like the show, not sure if it’s on Sparatcus’es level just yet, but it’s getting there.

What is Spartacus level anyways?

That hallway fight doe…

is that whos his stuntman…nah not personally but i grew up watching his forms and alot of my friends know him. craig henningson whos the killer in episode 1 ive partied with.

Just watched the first six episodes. Thus far I’m loving this show. The fighting has been superb. Best action I’ve seen on TV in a long time. I can’t help but feel DD needs a weapon. The mooks ain’t going down fast enough.

also
Kingpin doesn’t feel like the Kingpin to me on this show. I’m not feeling the ‘saving this city’ shtick he has. The man is a control freak and an entitled bastard. Cut the bullshit and just gives us that! I’m genuinely surprised that the Owl is his assistant. I figure a character like him would naturally be Fisk’s rival in the crime game. Also, seeing the romance part of superhero fiction coming from the villain is so refreshing.
Did not see

The fighting is decent but they throwing a lot of heavy bass in to disguise some obvious cat piss weak hits, also some of the moonsaults n shit a bit much. Good though just seems a bit OT at times.

Moonsaults n shit is perfectly reasonable considering who trained him.

moonsaults n shit aka tricking is right up the dd world. he was basically a white ninja…before he found the real ninjas.

The fight scenes are pretty good. If anything I would want them to maybe speed up the exchange a tiny bit. It may just be me from watching tons of MA flicks, but I think if they sped up the fight choreography, it would flow perfectly. But all in all it is really good, and better than a lot I’ve seen on tv.

Well the first episode where he used the stun gun alluded to his future use of the Billy Club, its all a learning process.

i equate the slowness of the fight scenes to how rough dd is and how new he is. hes not the trained ninja we know today, hes got growin pains

Yall just speeding through while I just got home from class. This intro is mad wavvy.

one take

Great hallway fight scene. You can tell that they got some inspiration from Oldboy. I do agree, he is still rough so getting everything down will take time. Right now I feel that this is how you do a comic book tv series. If Luke cage is like this then the marvel tv universe will be a problem

Old man is too fucking good in this.

DD: Am taking care of it…
Stick: You aint taking care of shit!

Always dogging on him.

That opening scene of Ep.3…brutal haha.
