Netflix shows have been MCU since they been announced. One of the Daredevil trailers references Iron Man and Thor when some thugs report to their bosses when they get their asses kicked. The backdrop of the series is Hell’s Kitchen rebuilding itself after the battle of New York.
I always thought they were separate for some reason - must be the use of the term “universe” or something.

Yooooo! That red suit is NICE! Glad they skipped the Yellow/Black. I read The Man without Fear this morning. I never knew the original of the black suit. It grew on me. I always thought the yellow/black was the OG.
It was the original suit, the black suit was retconned in i believe.
Black suit is a retcon. Man Without Fear was originally a screenplay that was later turned into a comic. There’s a lot of continuity issues with that book.
