The Punisher was in the hospital for a while after he took down the Irish. Maybe that’s because of his foot being drilled. He definitely got shot during that fight though.
I would prefer if they stopped making DD a bullet sponge. He’s not Wolverine or Superman, he’s just some guy with amazing hearing and ninja skills. It doesn’t help the story making him able to get shot and be fine, it just makes the bad guys less threatening.
DD doesn’t get shot often enough to be a bullet sponge. Only reason he survived the headshot was thanks to his hemlet and Frank being five feet away when he did. Melvin made that very clear. I can’t remember any other gunshots but he did take a arrow to the shoulder and no sold it. With his heighten senses DD should be in more agony than normal people. Cotton feels like sandpaper to the guy.
Four episodes in and really liking it. I think they’re handling Punisher pretty well. I do miss seeing D’onofrio on my television, though.
