Original Netflix plan was supposed to be a new series every 6 months, or at least that is what Netflix asked of Marvel
If everything is still going according to plan then DD season 2 should arrive in April or May and December will get Luke Cage.
I can’t help but wonder why Jessica didn’t just crush his fucking jaw into dust, pluck out all of his teeth, tear the bottom of his mouth off, cut off his tongue, and/or any other form of permanently ruining his ability to communicate to activate his power the first time she knocked his ass out since she didn’t want to kill him. By that point she’d already gotten the USB with his past on it, so she could have still found his parents and used them and their research and results as proof. Actually, they even showed a brief clip of him controlling them on it…
Of course, the show would have been a lot shorter…
I thought Hope was probably my favorite character of this series.
I guess the video of him using his powers as kid wasn’t conclusive enough. She did go out of her way to bring in the detective and lawyer in to witness it as they have legal credibility and her evidence wouldn’t be tossed out.
Yeah, they explained it pretty concretely; there had to be someone there to verify the video evidence as genuine.

Yeah but she still had the means to find his parents, who still had the means of recreating the serum(as his father made an amped up version of it in the final stretch, and injected it into Killgrave). They also probably had all sorts of records and hard evidence kept.
At that point, she had some great means for acquiring evidence.
I can let it slide that she didn’t think that far ahead, she seems to be that type of girl.
She needed to prove he had mind control powers and evidence of him demonstrating said powers. What she had didn’t have that. She only had videos of Kilgrave being experimented on.
Kilgrave’s dad didn’t have the means of recreating the serum. Kilgrave’s dad used the cells of fetus from Killgrave’s rape baby that contained the virus that gave him has powers. The stem cells from the fetus is what was used to amp his powers.
