That’s the problem with DC. 15 different universes going on at the same time, none of which are interconnected, except some of the CW stuff.
Whenever you get a show that is good enough that it should be considered part of a main universe, DC shoots that shit down, and they end up having to get lame/creative like Smallville, to fit in outside characters into their world.
I could give a shit less about some fucking insurance guy in the DC world, when you can’t properly have Superman or Batman ever show up.
I agree with the bulk of that but I see a bigger issue being they just keep shopping the same bullshit ass network tv locations.
If they want something easy that will translate into success they need to approach stars,hbo, Showtime etc or Amazon/Netflix about a Lobo
, Guy Gardener(yellow ring), ambush bug style series with a “likeable douchebag” that shit is easy to write, can be very dialogue driven to reduce budget if that’s an issue and you pretty much have to be a Dunn/McMahon to Fuck it up.
Personally I want to know what’s up with Iron Fist. Jessica Jones is due by the end of the year, season 2 of Daredevil is currently filming and Luke Cage is getting it’s cast. We still in the dark when it comes to Danny.
Marvel still doesn’t seem to know how they want to handle it. They got a lot of time, and after Daredevil took off like it did, they now realize they have to be careful with how they approach it. Last I heard, they still didn’t know how much mysticism they wanted to introduce.

It would be funny if they got Liam Hemsworth to play Daniel Rand. I’d pay top dollar to watch a good Thor vs Iron Fist battle, at some point, featuring the brothers.
What if they made a show about an insurance adjuster in Metropolis that takes place after Man of Steel and all he does is have to sort through a trillions of dollars in claims because the downtown of the city was leveled. POSSIBLY MORE EXCITING THAN GOTHAM WITHOUT BATMAN!! BEST NEW DRAMA!
