fisk has done alot of crazy shit that makes him borderline superhuman…same with lex luthor.
FIsk has beaten down early Spiderman and taken his shots like it was nothing. Even Early spiderman could do things like dodge bullets and hit with 5 tons of force or so
He got toned down from those days though.

Fisk was never able to take on Spider-Man. When he ordered a hit on Aunt May Spidey broke into the prison he was in and completely owned him in front of the entire prison. Fisk actually goaded about the fact he took Spidey out on previous encounter but Pete admits to him he was holding back. Going all in Kingpin didn’t stand a chance.
At the end of the day Kingpin is a street level villain.
So was The Hood. Look at him.

Bc Fisk beating Spiderman definitely happened in the 60s or 70s, but current Spiderman is way tougher.
But if the “previous encounter” was what Fisk was referring to then it’s still pretty up there, along with the way FIsk has done things like tear bank vault doors off their hinges and throw them at people.
It happened, but Parker holds back like 90% of the time with the last 10% being when he is beyond pissed off and gives no fucks.
Previous encounters are the times when he beat Spidey’s ass like you said. It’s what gave him the confidence to grandstand against Spidey in front of the prison when Spidey broke in.
I remember early Fisk tanking Spider-Man punches and cars crashing into him and him no selling it.
His body looked fat, but he trained it to be all muscle. Basically “a human brick.” Iirc, DD (or somebody of average human strength) broke their hand punching him the first time they struck him.

It’s not unfair. The point is that Fisk cannot take on Spidey if he decides to take the kiddy gloves off. The only times Spidey doesn’t hold is when he’s fighting someone who can take it or is pissed. If Fisk ever fought with Superior Spider-Man he would get crippled.
Spidey holding back is some lame bullshit but since he fills his day fighting purse snatchers it does make sense. Doesnt mean Fisk should get written off as a regular joe though aint he meant to be the fat evil version of Captain America or some shit like this?
Waiting for S2 to show us Fisk getting trained up to godlike lvls by Stick just to piss everybody off.
Spidey has superhuman strength. He can lift and throw cars and lift a few tons of ease. He’s not Superman but he can easily wreck Fisk shit if he really wanted to.
Taking “the kiddies gloves off” is bs. It’s like “samurai spirit” in ruroni kenshin. It’s just a plot device to get the main character over.
So what version of Spider-Man does kingpin get to fight today? How is his mood? Oh! I guess he’s fighting I-just-got-divorced-Spider-Man. So Fisk can take him then. Wait, is Spider-Man distracted? Because he’s distracted with his personal problems FAR MORE OFTEN than he is pissed off. Does Distracted-Spider-Man beat kingpin too?
It’s a bunch of crap. I agree Spidey will beat kingpin regardless of the mood because kingpin wouldn’t be able to touch Spidey in any kind of open space and he is very strong. Stronger than Kingpin as kingpin has no superstrength.
But that’s not his forte. It’s that he’s a human wall.

I finished watching the season like last week and I really enjoyed it.
Like I said before, I had zero expectations for this show but thx to you guys hyping me, I really enjoyed it. Can’t wait for Season 2.
Speaking about season 2, they could easily write up a side story over multiple episodes on how Fisk takes over the prison and shit. He starts up as an easy target for being fat and shit, then he just reks some guy hardcore and everybody gets scared. The story follows him over the next couple of episodes with him gaining more and more power, getting the guards on his side and eventually being liberated or something. Trough all that he can find himself a new #2 in prison, after saving some guy’s life or something, going for that whole complex good guy, bad guy persona.
Can’t wait!
Shiat he aint taking over no prison, the warden is gonna hand dem keys over when Kingpin shows up. Remember he had FBI guy in the van waiting on his ass? Not even Batman has that kinda prep time.

Just finished it tonight…man that last ep beatdown. Stick ep was the best thou straight up schooling DD.
Weird how everyone’s favorite episode was with Stick. That was probably my least favorite episode.
Also, I’m so mixed about how they made Fisk. There were times where he was super calm and cool no matter what but then there were times where I just couldn’t stop laughing cause he kept looking like the stupid fat kid from bad santa.
