I agree that the daredevil directors cut is much better than the regular movie. I agree with most of the gripes with the movie, but one point I would like to add is that did no one notice that Mr. Loreal Affleck runs like a fancy boy through the whole movie? Look at him run in the movie, I swear he is jogging to try out for the chearleader squad. FANCIEST RUNNER EVER. It must have been all of those fancy loreal products and moisturizers!!
Even better when you realize how much Ben Urich looked like Mac from Night Court

for the record, I watched the Director’s Cut of Daredevil, and it still sucked large angry dick.
One of the GREATEST tv shows I’ve had the pleasure of watching. I wasn’t even that big on DD before this show either.
According to the showrunner it wasn’t his call to kill Ben. He said that decision came from higher up.
Is Kingpin more DD villain than Spiderman? The 90’s cartoon made me think Spiderman. The amount of info I know for DD is purely off Spiderman and that Ben Affleck movie (so, very little). I really liked this series though. As far as the legal aspect of things, they showed enough. It’s not like Nelson and Murdock are well established and successful lawyers. They just opened up shop in episode 1 and business is slow what with Murdock running around in tights more than half the time trying to save the city.
Kingpin started as a Spider-Man villain but he became DD’s nemesis during Frank Miller’s run. When it comes to film rights the Kingpin is legally considered a Daredevil character.
Apparently the mobster that Urich talked to in his introductory episode was suppose to be Silvermane.

I’m hoping this kicks off dc realizing there’s $$$ in doing a similar release for their vertigo titles and hbo or Amazon license similar “darker” fare like a real Constantine or Swamp Thing and gets a more adult orientated release.
I want to say option sandman but I have a hard time seeing how they would transfer that without fucking it up.
Hands down best super hero tv show in a long time. Excellent casting, kick-ass fighting sequence and tight storyline. I wish I didn’t see the last episodes though…

I would love for Hitman to be optioned for a show.
As much as i love these movies, they were not great and i would like to see Swamp Thing get a little more love, especially the Alan Moore run.
