Marvel vs. Capcom Origins coming to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network

Other than Megaman any zoners in MvC1? Main reason I was never interested in it, just looked like rush rush rush rush.

GWM is all zoning, from what ive noticed

Commando is a great zoner as long as you never get hit. It won’t be easy vs much of the cast but it’s possible with some good patience and a good assist.

TaskTool: GGPO will simply not happen for me. I travel too much for work and I don’t play arcade games on a PC. I can wait till origins drops for some games if you want it then. Not sure if you really read my post or not but that was basically me saying 3p/3k shouldn’t matter unless you’re getting hit repeatedly which you shouldn’t be if you’re a real high level player, and also that much of that stuff people rely on as a crutch for 3p/3k is possible with practice on a non-bindings setup. It was also me saying I’m not that good at this game in comparison to what the real top players were like back in the day. If you care about your online rep/image, better make sure you don’t lose to me.

A hitbox isn’t a keyboard of course.

Sent from my Radar 4G using Board Express

That is the stupidest…

Man what?

Regardless of the directions. It’s ten times better than a keyboard. A keyboard isn’t meant for fighting games. While the hitbox is. Might be a bit limited but it’s designed for a fighting game unlike a keyboard.

80% life if they try to block it. I don’t understand either.

O.O

I might have to give Chun Devilot a try.

Strider Devilot is also an extremely potent combination!

Have the your opponent block the ouroboros super send out Devilot while they are in block stun/blocking orbs, this creates an unblockable situation because once Devilot blows up the opponent cant block the rest of Striders super resulting in a launcher into free air combo.

I played it once at my cousin’s house several years ago. I have played it, but I have very little first-hand knowledge about it.

I live in Australia, and yeah, arcades pretty much don’t exist. The only ones I’ve seen have been at holiday resorts, and neither of them had MvC2. Even if they did have MvC2, however, I probably would have payed it little attention because I wasn’t really into fighting games at the time.

you missed alot of great games :frowning:

Where did you get these please?

Also!
Sven replied and looks like we in great shape!

From the man himself:
"Just got off my plane from Brazil and I’m awaiting my connecting flight. While I was on the plane, Derek responded:

"When you’re playing the game, there is a “Speed Select” choice. It has two options, “Normal” and “Turbo”. There is no way to deviate from that set up.

However, there is a game speed slider in the options that will let you specify whatever game speed you want, even though the in-game menus won’t change."

So in short, it seems you can define your own default within the options that, overrides the usual in game setting and turbo is an option."

don’t talk about a game when you might rage quit at the end, like in mvc2.

Well, as long as we can filter online games by speed we should be good. I’m surprised that the interface doesn’t change like the arcade version, though.

what does that mean for online?

Yeah, good question.

Just messaged Sven, lets see what he says.

Isn’t Derek Omni BTW?

Mame-RR plus the Marvel Hitbox lua script.

Derek has, AFAIK always gone by Goryus in SRK and DustLoop.
