Probably a stupid question, but does the assist list just name the assists or did you make a note of what each assist did? If the former, no big deal. If the latter, then you guys would be the most awesome people on the site.

Insertname: we didn’t have time to pick EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER AND EVERYSINGLE ASSIST COMBINATION to check what the fuck they did… We’ve got assist names, type and direction.
the list was already hard to make, cause as you guys know there is no actual training mode, so we had to try to take note of all assists (3 per char) in the few amount of time given the char select screen.
(there are, though, little descriptions concerning if the assist is either projectile, direct or extra and the direction that it takes on screen front, upward, etc) for more detailed descriptions there was no time to try and take notes of all those assists in the time we had.
still, i suppose we can add the extra comment in the assists that we actually used in game, but that amounts to almost 1 per char (and i’m talking of only a handful of chars here)
there is a glitch, or there was on mvc2? because we tried that several times with different timings, just like u said it. try to put into a combo, does not combo at all (slow startup). doing it and canceling it into tempest does not work either cause it really does cancel the hypergrav (in other others, it disappears and does not grab the opp at all). we tried our best to do this you asked.
about cap. never said it was useless, only that his play style has very much changed from what it was (and for me not for the best, but consider that imo). also, about bringing close his opps with the shield, easier said than done. that thing is really meant to be used more in combos to prolong them, because just by using the move by it self does not bring the opp closer. (and if cap is hit during the throw, the shield won’t even deliver the second hit when it is returning) it is a “new” cap, so ppl just will have to relearn him.
@Kanta - u tried right after hyper grav and it got cancelled. look at a mvc2 video to check what i’m saying, you did the most close you could to mvc2 but it didn’t work mate. he does not mean kara because the move has to come out and grab the opp
I saw the vids last night, what happens is he cancels the animation before the moves come out, magTempest starts, hits, and only after that does HyperGrav go.
I feel like I did it right once, but the result wasn’t what it should have been. I did cancel the hypergrav into tempest, but no magnetic orbs came out…
we got to the same conclusion. not having his double jump really surprised me too actually.
ah, on a side note, wolverine no longer has a triangle jump too. though he still has his dive kick which, i can’t remember if in mvc2 could be done, can be done even when jumping back. also, the move appears to be better somehow, but i can’t really place my finger on it.
i dunno if this was touched on, any good look at some of thors other colors/skins? since i read they got rid of the pink color and thats the only other one i’ve seen.
