nah, it’s 1:40 windy. On monday i went to bed at 5am, when i posted the day 1 impressions
Naw it’s 1:42am at this very moment.
GMT+0, not +3
EDIT: Kanta beat me to it
And goddamn I forgot how cool the character select screen looked. I must make arrangements to go back there next week, even if on my own!
Frontpage cats=wierdos, deadass. The lot dont post around here
Hey Kanta-Kun. Assuming the next is not the last but can you test the invincibility of Morrigan’s Dark Force please?
Combowise, in VS you could crJab xn then end the thing with Dark Illusion.
Have you tried dash LP as an over head? How fast/tight is it? Can it combo into DI or at least chain into something that lead to a damaging combo?
I apologize beforehand if this is way too specific.
Dude, if it’s a hyper, in this build, I’m 99% sure it has no invincibility.
Everyone playing there today is used to SF4 and being able to sometimes mash out a shinku hadoken in a pinch. However, all you hear in MvC3 is “SCHWIN!” and then no hyper animation, just you getting your ass kicked.
I asked about the Thor/Spencer assist…and I am disappoint
BUT, Kanta, is it possible to grab them WHILE the hook is dragging the opponent over to you?? Like maybe Thor can airdash xx command grab as the opponent gets hit confirmed? I deeply appreciate you trying it out! You have NO idea dude!
If these are Morrigan questions I can answer them.
Dark Force has no invincibility when it starts up. Darkness Illusion can be comboed from just about anything, just set it up with a magic series. And if you’re looking for fast overheads, triangle jumping, dashing, etc. with J.E is the best thing to do as it is an easy hit confirm and chains into other normals.
thanks for saving me out of that one noodlez
No problem. I think you deserve a break from so many questions after providing all this juicy info. Thanks again btw, especially for going the extra mile to get all the colors and assists down.
sadly, no. Kanta tried thoroughly that, and different ways to grab the opp while being brought by the hook, and after. the only thing he did manage was what he already posted about thor.
She sounds closest to her VSav carnation compared to other VS games which is cool. Hopefully the hitboxes in her normals are bigger compared to that game this time in the final build.
Thanks for the info.
Her normals seemed really good to me in the TGS build, but yeah we’ll see in the final build.
Shit, I REALLY had my heart set on that too…ahh well, Mighty Strike it is! Thank you for the response!
So, what’s the consensus on the game in general? Are you guys liking the game or what? Excited?
We’re super fucking excited. to keep it simple.
Super. Fucking. Excited. Loved the game.
No Chris news.
But I like the Arthur Gold Armor assist bit. :badboy:
Greatly appreciate the info dude, the 30 char select screen looks pretty sweet too.
I also greatly anticipate the Assist list, especially if it has little descriptions :D.
How are those Viper titties?
sorry, no time for descriptions… that would be way too much.
Also, going back to what I think of the game so far “Ready? Ready doesn’t EVEN… FUCKING… "
@Legend: Viper? Shit, you’re looking at the wrong pair. Morrigan’s are humongous. They’re so big it hurts. But its the good kind of pain. They’re big, but not awful like ivy’s.
Regarding Magneto’s HypergravxTempest, it seems like you didn’t quite understand how to use it. Hypergrav was always very slow. There is a glitch that allows the energy to keep traveling during super flash, so the trick is to do hypergrav then immediatly super so the characters are frozen in the super flash and the hypergrav keeps moving and grabs them. It’s stupid.
I don’t know if you still have access to the game, but if so just do the two moves in quick succession dont wait for the grab before activating tempest.
I hope the game hasn’t gone “gold” yet. I’m not ready to believe cap is useless.
