theres something about spiral that pisses noobs off than any other character.
i’m thinking its either one of these
-filling up the screen with crap: while noobs like to icebeam/unibeam/sonic boom all day, that aint shit compared to what spiral can do with swords and drone assist
-swords slowly chip you to death: not only can she cover the whole screen with crap, all those swords slowly drains you to death
-opponent can barely move: while any other character can fill the screen with crap, you still have some mobility option, but spirals swords covers the whole screen. no one else can do that aside from strider/doom
-teleport: lets say the opponent finally gets close enough to actually hit you, you can just teleport away.
-snapback: she has one of the best snapbacks in the game and since she almost always have meter, you can tell the opponent to gtfo when they try to tag in their fresh character

no worries man, you probably are getting some lag if your having problems blocking
some tv’s are gonna have that problem regardless, but if your not connected via HDMI or component (your still using the ol yellow white and red cables) then defiantly get yourself a hdmi cable and hook your ps3 up that way. will vastly improve if not remove the lag completely.
that goes for any game on the ps3 at all.
or just connect your ps3 to a old crt and turn mvc2 onto 4:3 in the video option menu. its all fucked up in widescreen anyway.

I’ve heard of problems with HD TVs but my ps3 is plugged into an HD computer monitor and I have no problems. maybe invest in that? you’ll get a real nice computer monitor too that can be used for something other than mvc2.
I use the hannspree HF-289HJB. I think only Best Buy carries them. It’s expensive as fuck but well worth my money.
