I posted this in the MVC2 gen strat forum section as well.
I want to start up some tournaments for MVC2 PSN online. No money involved. IRC room will be up for those in the tourney and you’ll have to be on and in the room at the time of the tourney. Once the brackets are up, multiple people can play at the same time and you just need it to be reported in the room. It is time efficient. Just as long as everyone listens to the OP in the room (which would be me in this case) everything should flow smooth.
I also had ideas of setting up some “themed” online tournaments. I.E. Low tier tournament, megaman tournament, little girls tournament, giants tournament, etc. etc.
I was thinking about doing the whole paypal donate thing and then the winner gets the money sent to their paypal account. A reasonable $2 per person is not a huge fuss, is it? But lets find out more about this game online before we go into that.
If any/everyone is interested in me running some tournaments like this, let me know in this thread/PM/AIM. I’d be willing to take care of all the technicalities, all you guys need to do is show up on time and play. Also, these tournaments will be held on convinient days/timings (ie not duing normal work days/hours). Thanks.
