Ok, it’s august 13 now, the promised release date according to the capcom website, but i dont see any Marvel vs. Capcom 2 full download being available in the Playstation store!

I’d prefer a retail version too, but like you said, it might take forever and a day to wait on that, so i’ll just download it, and sacrafice some HD space for it.
it’s the same… you get a voucher to download the game with the retail version. so you don’t actually save any HDD space.
Only reason why I ordered it was to get the month free subscription to Marvel universe.
It’s usually $10 a month so I figure even with shipping my total was $19 and change, so with the subscription in mind I paid $9 and change for the game.
oh, and a empty useless box that’s limited to 15,000…

Yeah I do hope they fix any and all bugs soon. There seems to be a lot of talk about it so I really hope capcom has noticed.

I read on the IGN review that some of the bugs aren’t in the PSN version. I’m getting the retail version today.
If i buy the retail version in store, will I be able to download the game before PSN updates?

I just called the gamestop in my area to see if they had retail copies of mvc2, but the guy hadn’t received any information about it. i’d really like to get the retail copy for all the freebies, but if gamestop doesnt have it, who will :wonder:? and i want the game TODAY! with all the FREEBIES!
I just called Gamestop, 2 of them in fact, and they said they either don’t have it in their system, know nothing about it or AREN’T GETTING IT TODAY. What the fuck?
Ironically, one of workers @ gamestop told me to pre-order it and now they don’t have it in their system. Fuckin idiots.

a few unreliable online sources i found state that the “retail” version is an online exclusive at gamestop. maybe that’s why none of the gamestop employees know what’s going on. if that’s the case, I’ll be getting the psn version. The freebies aren’t worth the shipping cost and additional waiting time.
If anyone else somehow finds that gamestop has copies in store, please post so i can run out and get it either during or after work haha.
Edit: Just saw previous post, which had not been posted when i was typing up my post. I’ll be getting the PSN version afterall. Tonight, hit me up for some scrubby games on east coast!
