For MVC2, Can anybody help me configure my psx control with darkman input control plugin, im using the radioshack psx converter. With the chankast ElSemi input i can use both my dpad and left analog stick to move, somehow in configuration of the input, in says POV for every direction in the dpad like up, down, etc. With cable i can use the dpad to hk and analog to connect or do the ahvb real fast. However with the El SEmi input i can only use the ps2 control like if it was a dreamcast control, only L1 and L2. I got Darkman’s Input because i can make L1 and L2 to be assists, R1 to be lp+hp, and R2 lk+hk just like the ps2 mvc2 version. However i cant manage to get the configuration right like with the El Semi input so that POV thing comes out, i can only use the dpad and analog one at a time with Darkmans. If i want to use the analog i have to press the analog ON button, if i press it i cant use the dpad, WTF. Can anybody help out or recommend a good input. Mvc2 runs smooth, now all i want it to be able to play it good.

I saw a few months ago some guys were testing out netplay, they wouldn’t give out the hack for it though. They said it’s too slow and strictly an inside testing when they were doing it. With my experience I would say it wasn’t a fake, but there’s been no word since.

anyone tried capcom vs snk 2 fan disk(has replays of jpn players, artwork, music from past games capcom has released) on chankast? i finally got around to it… it works, its sweet. its like watching match vids on ur chankast lol.

since the chankast devs have no current plans of implementing online play and will “probably” quit the project when the source code is released soon a friend of mine will probably try to implement online play for it and ill be beta testing it… and no, kaillera wont work because all kaillera does is send keystrokes over the network and with the dreamcast each players memory needs to be in sync.
anyway, mvc2 online could be close.

cps3 probably wont ever be emulated… well, not any time soon. it has crazy protection and the board can just die if you do something wrong… so cps3 = a lot of time and money.

okay when i run Chankast (v.25) i can get to the VMU screen for MvC2 and runs @17fps, but once it continues, it goes black, crashes @ 11fps, then i have to restart my computer becuase the crash fucks up the video.
How can i run this on my computer to be stable?
I think chankast just runs like shit on AMD. I have an athlon xp 3200 and it runs like shit for me…
make sure you turn on the capcom hack
Get a better video card. My pc is originally a Compaq Presario as well, but I’ve been upgrading that bitch since I got (over a year ago now) Everything has been upgraded except for the mobo.
i don’t think the boards dying is a hindrance. seeing as the roms have already been dumped, there’s no need to use the actual boards. it’s just breaking the encryption on those roms that’s the problem.
Speaking of Emulation, have they gotten to Model 2 , or Model 3 emulation yet?

Theres only 1 game on the CPS3 board that hasn’t been ported to home consoles and thats Warzard…Model 2 and 3 emulation holy shit man, the great games are countless…

thing is, warzard didn’t even come out on DC either i dont think… so yeah, actual cps3 emulation would be the only hope
has anyone tried the game tech romancer? it runs pretty good on chankast aside from sound problems and it seems like a pretty cool game, its done by capcom and has chars like jin in it… its a fighting game with mechs all in 3d, never tried it before until now
