My shit still doesnt work! 
*First version: Loads then crashes.
*Second version: Gets to DreamCast logo, then crashes.
*Third Version: Gets past DreamCast logo, screen goes black (loads up the game) then it crashes.

are there decent quality sticks you can get for computers that plug in through USB or something?
You can order something like the X-arcade but itās like $100, Iāve never seen or used one, but supposedly itās really good. I use a cheap solution and it works for me, PSX arcade stick with a radioshack PSX-USB adapter, total cost $19, $8 for the dual sided arcade stick called āBlazeā and $11 for the adapter. People put it down because itās not true arcade parts, but itās Japanese style, with an 8 way joystick knob top that clicks, and convex buttons. The button layout is kinda rounded if youāe ever seen the way a normal Soul Calibur button layout is, itās like two rows of that, since I believe the stick is designed by Namco or a company involved with them.

Best way is to either buy a converter ( i suggest from lik-sang) or hack a USB controller pad. Depending on your liking.
If you want to hack a pad, and have common grounds becaues of some reason, such as using ports to change systems, then i suggest the Saitek P150. It looks like a sidewinder basically. But only has 6 face buttons, and 2 shoulders. If u use mame, you can wire the shoulders for start, and coin.
If you donāt care about common grounds, then use the Gravis gamepad pro. Lots of buttons.
It runs slow because:
A.) You are using the emu with a CD.
or
B.) You have a crappy videocard
More than likely it is A. To fix this, get an image of the game, and then mount it.
my game runs only 25 FPS as well, itās neither A or B.

Underclocking doesnāt work either, nor does over.

Also, for those whoās emu crashes: I think this may work for some, but you have to use NEW and FRESH bios. Meanin bios that havenāt been used by the emulator before.

Same here, finally got it to work, or so I thoughtā¦ then after the Capcom logo, it crashes on me, but havenāt tried messing with the cd plugins yet. Tried both cd and image on the latest versionā¦ though Iām seeing improvement with each release.
IMO, it must be something more than just the type of video card your using, some other bug or something running in the background, but Iām not worried about it cuz I have a DC.
it has nothing to do with ur computer. my friends computer is a 3.6ghz and a 9800 pro and it still dosnt run cvs2 at full speed. the program is still in alpha. i hear that the next release is the first beta and they said it should run full speed with a 700mgz computer so just wait till then.
