IM’s priority is so fucking stupid. if he grazes you with a hit box, he’s going to win. His ability to A2G or refly infinite makes any CH potential death. You literally can’t swing against a good IM player w\o the possibility of your normal losing to IM’s normals.
if you don’t think s\d is good, clock would probably like to play for money! I remember a few years ago, clock vs sanford @ EVO. This is recent and if anyone is going to have EXP in this fight, it’ll be sanford. Clock went 1-2 with sanford however, clock was in it every game iirc. He could of easily won that set.
If you weren’t @ sb3, wong played s\d during the team tournament because EC had already won. He didn’t exactly do the best with it, but he showed how effective the team can still be. Justin doesn’t even seriously play the team yet he managed to scrap against some of cali’s finest.

You might have skipped or skimmed through my posts and missed it, but I think S/D is VERY good. Hence why I was arguing that the argument that if IM has “godlike execution” he is god tier then S/D with “godlike execution” is way more eligible for god tier than IM.
Anyway, looking forward to it. I need the experience since I have relatively little experience playing against ANY S/D. I just know that cyclops is useful as an assist against S/D.
Now, I might recieve little grunts about my upcoming thesis.

My Top-Tier: Cable Dr.Doom Blackheart M.Bison
My Mid-Tier: Ken Strider Spiral Psylocke
My Low-Tier: Cammy Colossus Jin Shuma Gorath
JUST A FEW OF THE CHARACTERS IN MY TIERS. I didnt have Cable in the God, because he isnt…Hes limited in offense, no good player will fall for his luring tactics for ahvb, and hes too stiff against more aggressive opponents. The only reason hes in the top, is because of his damage from his hvb, thats about it. And to be honest, that should only have him in the mid-tier, cause there are other characters that will eat him up 1 on 1. I put Cyclops over him, because he has a better defense, better assist, better combos and hes quicker i.e Justin comeback…You wouldnt have seen Cable pull off something like that against MSP. Many peps will disagree with me, but everyone has their OWN tier rankings, so I dont mind. Actually, I think Spiral could be Top-tier, cause she has a variety of moves in her arsenal, and a good defense.
Holy mother of GOD! Since when did Bison become better then Cammy and Strider? Cyke is really good, but it’s nothing over powered about him, just a really well rounded character. And Cable is still a God. Sanford beat Jwong with Cable this year and won Evo.
cable is god tier easily and definately better than cyclops… the notion of 1 character not being as good b/c of a 1 on 1 scenario means little in a game where there are 3 characters. despite that cable’s dmg potential solo is still far beyond cyke… ahvb is that good… you can say thats all he has… but thats all he needs… if he had a lot of others moves… they’d mostly just be a waste compared to ahvbX3…
With the proper team spiral does border god tier IMO… becomes somewhat matchup dependent with her.

Magneto isn’t the answer, nor is Storm or Sentinel. Trying to suck out with Cable might work, but only for one quick set.
The answer? The answer is Iron Man. With no other character can you increase your chances of winning against great players by so much. Although his top potential peaks out at maybe a 20-30% winning ratio, that is more than the average joe will ever achieve. Why spend all the time learning the game, to play to win when you can play to suck out and scam a tournament place?
So pick up Iron Man! Learn his combos and watch as 4 months of training mode combined with frame kill setups lets you place top ten. Behold the magical powers of “suck out” as random tags in desperation boost your chances of winning by that much! Watch as the opponent can do absolutely nothing while you play the game by yourself. After all, you earned it with all that training mode!
Oh and to clarify since someone positive repped me for this post, to be most effective with this strategy, do not try to copy great players like Iron Illan or KillaKelly and play IM on his own, you absolutely must, as previously mentioned, let IM piggyback his way to victory!
