I wonāt spoil myself to watch that but imo if they conveniently only left all of the phase 1 Avengers (think first Avengers Assemble cast) that can only mean most of them are dying/getting crippled. I think Captain America and Iron Man die, maybe Thor and Hawkeye too. Weāll see

I mean, neither are wrong in wanting to protect their kingdoms. Their acts have been very questionable and suspect at times though.
To be fair, the break up was very much editorial mandate and handled poorly in a poorly written event book. Although the same goes for their marriage which if I remember right was written as a event but also poorly handled at first.
I donāt think a Storm and TāChalla relationship would be that bad but it would take a lot of building blocks to set up properly and I canāt think Coogler or most are going to want to do all that for what is basically fan bait when they already converted Nakia from crazed stalker villain to love interest with well known actress in the role.
I think you build it over 2 movies. The first involves flashbacks since they have been crossing paths since childhood. Maybe even have nakai be storms friend who grew jealous or afraid of her powers. Something I can see tāchalla fawning over as a kid.
I wouldnāt be surprised if Cap dies. But I think theyāll have Iron Man just retire and go live out his life with Pepper, and thus written out of the movies. I canāt see Disney bringing Pepper back in the fold in the last couple movies, and them getting engaged only to have it end so heart-breakingly. But then again, they did kill Bambiās mom, soā¦
Rocketās definitely coming back for GotG 3. Ant Man will most likely survive. I canāt see Thor getting murked after leveling up. Captain Marvel will be back- maybe as the new leader? You canāt kill the Hulk.
Natasha has dat ass, so she wonāt die. Still think itād be cool to get a standalone movie with her and Hawkeye, but with the new phases coming in, and all their contracts up, I donāt see them making any more movies of the OG Avangers.
But yeah, weāll see. I really donāt want that shit spoiled, but fun to speculate.
Speculation:
IM/Tony- Sacrifices himself to save the team.
Cap - Is dealt some sort of major injury that prevents superheroics and then āretiresā to be with Sharon (And tear up her pussy)
Thor - survives. Takes a leave of absence to search for other Asgardians and rebuild a new home. Open ended and can return here and there in Avengers flicks as support
Black widow - survives. Retires from Avengers but works independently in the shadows
Hulk - Banner personality is merged with Hulk. Basically its hulk body with banner /intellect. Stays on an Avenger full time
Hawkeye - Dies like a bitch.
War Machine - Dies heroically
All the Guardians are revived. Business as usual in GOTG 3
Bucky/Falcon/Vision/SWitch - All survive but do there own thang. Vision is somehow reborn throughSCIENCE/Shuri without the gem, but takes on white look from late 80s/90s.Viz and SW reture to some obscure island and resume fucking.
Bucky/Sam - team up to fight crime and rag on each other . All are reserve Avengers
New Avengers:
Strange BP and Carol = the new big 3
Hulk, Spidey, Ant-man= other 3

I think Thor and Hulk have the best chance of being the heavily hinted at 1/3 of the O.G. who survive.
