At the time she was an amazing choice for Storm. She just simply didn’t deliver and resorted most of her dialog to weather puns and bitching.

And given the time frame of which x-men was made, she was considered pretty much a house hold name thanks to her modeling and work with Revlon. She was the right choice. It was just fucking awful content given to her along with likely no previous knowledge of the character unlike now where marvel greatly encourages their actors do extensive research of the character they’re going to play.
If we want to fast track Storm, there’s no better way to introduce her in the MCU than in a Black Panther sequel.
Why would you fast track and strong arm a character into a universe with no build? That’s just stupid.

Already said, she could spearhead the Wakandan mysticism, which is big in the comics.

It would make no fucking sense if they just made her as a random cameo at the end of a movie. Especially since he already has a love interest in Nakia.

I don’t even want her as T’Challa’s love interest, I’ve read her in Coates’s Black Panther fighting alongside T’Challa and them having a teamup is way better than having them as a love couple.
