Venom still sucks as a character and canāt carry shit by himself, however.

For all the hate SM3 Venom gets (and rightly deserves, as with the rest of the movie), it was mostly in execution and unnecessary shoehorning of him in to begin with. Shit could be done justice if itās a slow-burn. Even ONE dedicated SM flick for Venom isnāt enough, IMO. Should be a side-story alongside a trilogy with the Venom buildup as background, rather than attempting to do it all in one movie, forget do it in one movie while cramming in two other stories at the same time.

Iām not really a die hard when it comes to Spiderman. When it comes to Venom are we referring to Venon (as one the many post-Symbiote bonded characters) or the symbiote itself?
I donāt hate Venom, but that dude cannot carry a movie by himselfā¦ and making a half-assed Alien movie based on the symbiote is weak as fuck.
Venom needs Spidey, the Guardians, or someone, ANYONE to play off of.
Venom has had multiple stories that prove he can have his own sustainable and entertaining narrative.
His dichotomy with Spider-Man certainly helps, but it doesnāt completely define his character.
I donāt see a Venom movie where Spider Man is NOT included in some shape or form. If they do, which Spidey will they use? Andrew Garfield? Or would they still use Tom Holland because of the partnership thing going on between Sony and Marvel?
