Saw it in a packed theater and my wife had to shut down some tumblr kids behind us. Made a mom and son move because they can’t stop bitching that Jean Grey was top tier in X-Men legends. Barring that movie was pretty damn good and would watch again!

Jean wasn’t that great. The only thing she had going for her was the cool ability to pick up people and throw them. She also couldn’t pick up everything, even at max level. So leveling up telekinesis was like…what’s the fucking point? You didn’t need her for the bridges because Iceman was absolutely disgustingly good. He’s probably the best character in that game by leaps and boundaries.

Its too easy to fix the flaws of the first two movies, and Justice league will be all about power showcasing, and awesome fights over anything else. Justice league essentially has 1 mission. To give everyone a nerd boner with darkseid, build a basic story of bringing the team together, and do a shit ton of ass kicking.
It doesnt have to do much of anything to score a big win, as long as it brings the action, some sun, and some laughs. People wanna come see batman again. Wonder woman fans will return after her movie debuts a few months before justice league. Everyone cant wait to see if this flash sucks or not compared to the show. Cyborg and aquaman are gonna be fucking awesome to see. With possible guest of green lantern or martian manhunter.
Shit head david goyer isnt working on the justice league movie, so his opinions on martian manhunter are irrelevant now. Also, DC needs to bring in a guest spotlight that we havent seen yet, and wont completely break the budget. Martian manhunter done perfectly could bring that “Vision” (marvels vision) character DC needs.
Justice league part 1 is a huge opportunity for DC to let fans know that theyre learning as they grow the universe, and here is the culmination of that. Suicide squad is not that movie. That shit will be a dud unless batman steals that movie, and it becomes a must see just for that. I hope its great though. [/details]

There was one thing that kinda pulled me out of the suspension of disbelief in this movie.

This still feels like a slight nitpick, as the movie was spectacular otherwise, but I can’t be the only one who looked at that funny.
He is a super soldier. Him and bucky got that super soldier serum running through them and are both super fast, strong, can jump far. Slight Healing factor. Heightened senses etc.
This is how cap can take full on blows that wreck buildings right in the face.

I get that he’s strong. I also get that it’s still him dragging a fucking helicopter out of the air and then pulling it back down. Strong, yeah, but goddamn, he ain’t Hulk…
I just felt that was just a bit much, especially considering 90% of the “superhuman” shit he’s been doing has been with his shield, which actually can explain a ton of shit what with the whole “vibration absorption” thing basically being the ultimate shock absorber.
