Black Panther’s family was the one selling their own people, albeit serfs/peasantfolk, for the fancy white man tools, such as mirrors, spoons/forks, toilet paper, rock music, hamburgers, skinny jeans, and shiny metals (which they found out was vibranium).
Come on, son. Up your marvel comics history game, yo.
Only reason he’s in this movie is cuz whitey realized how OD vibranium was, and they tried to send Bucky in blackface to Wakanda to steal it back. He stole a vibranium royal juju staff and fufu pestle/mortar. BP don’t play dat. He needs his fufu and black African magic.
Yo like real talk dawg, are you a stuntman for this movie too? You get to meet RDJ? That would be like sooooo cool dawg. Tell me you got some autographs or some pictures with the cast.
I should start making histories of comic book character videos and putting them on youtube. I’m sure my subscribers would appreciate my vast comic knowledge, unlike y’all mooks :arazz:
They did a comic that showed that Steve was training to be Cap back when he was a kid too. He was getting his ass handed to him because he was frail as fuck, but he was training and learning shit. He loses the serum at some point, and still beats the ever loving fuck out of several goons, because he still has all that training and his previous training to fall back on :
oh and here is T’Challa’s dad not mattering to Cap:
and to the idiots arguing, Cap is superhuman, not peak human. Peak human’s can’t survive a 200 foot fall gracefully. We’re not jumping 10+ feet if we train hard enough. His minor healing factor kicks in fast enough to heal burns on his body as soon as he isn’t being burned. His body naturally fights off toxins, poisons, sedatives, and worse. He can lift cars and trees. In the comics (and now in the movie) he’s held onto helicopters to prevent them from moving (he grabbed one in a comic, and proceeded to smash it into the ground). Cap has telepathic defences due to his brain being rewired (he’s challenged X-Men telepaths on numerous occasions). The same brain that gives him didactic memory (he can remember every moment of his life perfectly, every face he’s met). He doesn’t even age properly. He went away to some other dimension for like 20 years, fighting the entire time, and when he gets back, everybody thought it was the same Cap.
Here’s Cap being pronounced dead from being shot in the fucking head, and his serum kicks in and heals him up 12 minutes later:
meh they were both infected with the brood in that last one. First pic, who cares? Depending on who was writing, cap or bp usually win or stalemate occasionally. Young rookie Cap losing to T’Chaka after a long ass battle, ain’t no thing.
I’ve always assumed they were pretty much even.
The image I showed with him stalemating T’Chaka is also when T’Chaka was infused with the Heart herb, to make him even more powerful, and even then, Cap was having none of his shit.
Those Marvel’s words, not mine. 616 Cap’s abilities are officially not superhuman, they are the peak of what humanity (homo sapiens, not homo superior) may eventually become.
For practical purposes, yes, he’s superhuman compared to the current humans, but officially, he’s not, because his abilities (including his healing and mental prowess) are within the bounds of human potential.
Other versions of Cap like Ultimate and MCU Cap are totally superhuman, so no argument there.
He’s discussed wanting to do the role again. I’m hoping Marvel agrees, because he would be incredible being back in the Marvel Universe. Irregardless, I now want JJJ in Civil War now.
I am guessing the dude talking to Cap in the trailer, is supposed to be Thunderbolt Ross?
