Anyone else feel like Cheadle is a trash Rhodey? Rhodey is supposed to be a decorated war hero but Cheadle just seems so old and frail, especially compared to the rest of the cast. Terrence Howard wasn’t too much better but at least he didn’t seem like he’d be out of commission for a few days after an intense game of ultimate frisbee.

Was gonna say that. Haha. Not hating on Cheadle seems like a nice dude. But damn that fella has been waay miscasted. No way he look like a war veteren.
Nah man, he’s pretty bad ass. Remember in Iron Man 3 when he jumps out of the suit? He’s about to beat they ass until they pull some wizard dragon shit.
Also, he did break his spine in Civil War, so if he’s letting his age show, I think that’s understandable.

Never judge a vet by looks, but I will say Cheadle sound more like a veteran then Howard but that could be how he delivers things. I hate brother lost his job, but he bounced back and frankly we are lucky Perlmutter’s BS landed them a talent like Cheadle given the circumstances.

It’s 100% the writing and direction he was given. One of my fave movies is where he embeds himself in an Islamic terrorist cell and is like this grizzled vet who was military trained. It’s a good movie. Cheadle has alot of range but these marvel movies never gave him a chance

What? No. She uses Chakrams. She fights with Shuri against Killmonger in the final act of BP. It’s not the longest fight but she still fights. She also fights off several Border Tribe members who side with Killmonger. She also fights briefly in the casino scene.
