Meet Kang the Conqueror…

Marvel literally broke their own time travel rules they set. 20 min after they set it.

This might be a good self contained story but it won’t make sense in the grand mcu world because they have already shown they can’t do time travel right.

Plus we got the loki series doin even more time travel

I got no faith in it Makin sense

what?

Gamora and loki shouldn’t exist based on mcu’s rules of time travel. They are paradoxes to the movies.

Go on.

I think they purposely fucked the time travel rules just to use Kang to “fix” things. He was actually at the funeral at Endgame if I’m not mistaken. All of this seems like long term planning if you ask me

Besides, none of the Avengers have actually time traveled before, so it’s was just theories and guesses on their part, can’t take their word as law. It’s pretty clear they generally didn’t know wtf they were doing lol

I could be wrong, but that’s my hot take on it

Replacing the stones was supposed to reset the timeline. That’s why cap could go have a whole different life and not fuck up the time stream. The parallel universes and split time lines should have ceased to exist once cap put the stones back. But loki and gamora from 2014 exist in the mcu running around.

Quinn went after 2014 gamora and loki is getting a TV show, I’m pretty sure he’s on the run from the time variance authority in it. Whos job is to make sure people don’t fuck up the time line.

The movie established that each timeline is essentially it’s own Earth. Loki grabbing the space stone to escape doesn’t invalidate his later appearances in the universe. His Disney+ show uses that moment as a launching point and likely address it.

They said that they would cease to exist once you put the stones back. Cap waited to put it back so he could live a whole life before erasing it.

This is pretty much how I thought about it.

That said, technically Cap shouldn’t have been on the bench at the end (even though we know it was done for dramatic effect).

Re-watch it, they talk about the parallel timeline. In mcu they clearly state when they put the stone back it erases that timeline

trunks saga rules applies to mcu

No they established his timeline is a parallel universe. Him traveling back in time didn’t do anything to his personal future. It’s still shit. But his timeline still is there.

The infinity stones control the timeline… Fuckin wit them causes a parallel universe. Putting them back fixes it so it doesn’t exist.

this is from a discussion of probabilities between the ancient one and hulk

But infinity stones break reallity

I mean there is a reallity and time gem

If we bring deadpool reallity into this cable fucked up a lot of shit

That is logically how it should be done… But the writers have actually come out and said, ‘Naw, Cap + Peggy Always’ ignoring that means Cap let terrible shit happen to everyone and Peggy else for decades if he wasn’t living in another timeline.

Yeah the way dragon ball fixed their time travel was actually surprising. But then again Akira toriyama isn’t running the show anymore so that explains that :joy:

Wait if Kang is black does that mean Reed will be black :joy:

Joking… But kinda not

He might do the mocap and voice while they use somebody else’s face. Idk

Yeah, technically Kang is usually purple or blue faced. But Reed being black or any minority would be interesting. I hear the last F4 movie the director wanted Sue and Johnny to both be black but got overruled.

Asian. Make him asian…
