Ironic that he was the most in shape, and then his character got fat.
Dammit chat you were supposed to post this gif.
Preach!
But given the movies are full of shorter guys I doubt our wishes will come true. But I would love a legit Storm like her even if I can’t see a inch of that beautiful skin below her neck or they hide the goods like Darcy aka Kat Denning in the Thor films.
Fantomex is reappearing
Cool to see Quoi back. He was supposed to be some grand cosmic messiah. His last appearance was in 2002.
Hickman orchestrating some wild shit.
Meanwhile Jean and wolverine tryin to find a third for the threesome
It’s all been so good too. All the Post-House/Power of X titles have been phenomenal as well. I can’t remember the last time I was this invested in an ongoing X-Series, let’s alone a marvel series.
Maybe House of M or the first civil war? I’ve been reading arcs I’ve missed like Infinity and some others but I’m talking about stories I read first hand or got hype about reading
Yeah I like the groundwork he layed out. He doesn’t do things in 1 or 2 arcs. His full idea may not even fully get explained til possibly 2-3 years down the road.
@maxx My favorite secondary arc that no doubt will become a much bigger plot is
Summary
When Sinisher, Apocalypse, X and Magnus founded Krakoa they all agreed that all mutants are allowed on Krakoa except for mutants with precognitive powers. This is at the suggestion of Moira as she feels precognitive mutants are too dangerous to be allowed on the island. She mentions Destiny specifically as she has an unparalleled level Of progenitive awareness.
I mentioned that due to Mystique has been literally killing herself over and over and over again doing black ops to prove herself for Magnus and Charles to show she can be trusted. Magnus and X both agreed that once she earns that trust, her wife, Destiny will be allowed the be resurrected and be allowed onto the island.
Because of the afore mentioned unwritten rule of Krakoa made by the four founders this will never happen. Before Mystique went to Krakoa and before Destiny’s death, Destiny told Mystique that when there comes a time where she no longer feels safe on Krakoa or no longer trusts the people in charge that she should burn the place to the ground and flee as it’s the only way they’ll ever be together again.
Yeah I saw that and was like… Oh Charles did you not learn from illumanti??
Charles is on some fucking shit. Like, some of his dialog is legit haunting to me. He has the elegance of speaking as the other founders, especially Magnus but it feels dangerous and calculating like the other founders, Apoc and Sinister.
When he broadcasts the Krakoan proclamation to the world towards the end of Power/House of X I had goose bumps and chills went down my spine
Making me wonder if it’s really Xavier. He’s cold reminds me a little of ultimate Reed
Oh, The Maker? I don’t know. Despite the massive messiah complex he still shows amazing compassion and looking out for the wellbeing for all the citizens of Krakoa.
He’s definitely doing mad shady shit though.
So is everyone though lol. Like Kwannon and Sinister. As well as Sebastian Shaw. Even Beast is doing hella shady shit and has grown a messiah complex.
Yeah I’m not saying he’s the maker. We already know he’s somewhere in the background of the 616 universe because he was involved in the carnage shit.
Just I dunno, he’s off. I know Moira fucked with the timeline but still…hes off
I didn’t say he was the maker. I was just mentioning Ultimates version of Reed is called the maker.
I don’t know how the reboot affected Xavier, but could be he’s still in Fantomex’s body. That could explain his boldness.
I want her as nether one.
Yeah that fucker was fatter than I am, then he went on a 6 month training regiment when he does Kickboxing, weight lifting, aerobics, swimming, running and I forgot what else. His trainers up his calories from 2000 to 5000 to speed up that burn and get some muscle mass on him.
The way the stones came together like the chaos emeralds made me laugh.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up in Mahershala Ali’s Blade
