They fucked the Phoenix story line up twice. They don’t deserve a high note.

I want it to be released theatrical and this year, probably in November-December.
That’s because it’s the 20th Anniversary of the X-Men theatrical releases, XXth Century Fox.
But they gave us Logan and DoFP, Deadpool 1 & 2, X2. Sure they shit out some turds, but let’s not act like they didn’t drop bangers. Put some respeck on Fox name

Academically they’d score an F. So Fuck em. If they wouldn’t fought with Ryan Reynolds so long we would of had Wolverine and Deadpool in the same movie.

I loved the X-Men film series, flaws and everything.
I think the X-Men Origins: Wolverine is the only movie I didn’t like at all (well, Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth was killer).
This film series should receive more love, Disney should even do a X-Men film series marathon on theaters.
I didn’t like the movie…but it spawned one of the best X-Men games of all time.

I recall never dying in that game unless it was from platforming or falling in water.

I never played it but I’ve only heard good things about it.
I know they changed the story etc but cmon having DoFP mixing both casts was dope af when it came out. Wolverine interaction with Swagneto was too good. Also I remember watching X2 and thinking the whole time “holy shit we dont deserve this”

The Wolverine is underrated. It was a great movie until the third act.

X2’s weak ass script was carried by Brian Cox and Alan Cumming as Stryker and Nightcrawler respectively. Both dudes are world class caliber actors who outshined nearly everybody and made every scene they were in watchable.
Logan was pretty good. The other Logan movies are gross but a lot of good casting choices but gross as movies overall.
Deadpool 1 was great. Deadpool 2 was kinda whatever. I didn’t like it nearly as much as 1
I didn’t like any of the other X-Men movies like first class, DoFP, Apoc, Etc. That includes X1 and Last Stand. All trash, imo.
I’m still sad we’ll never get Channing Tatum’s Gambit. He’s such a criminally underrated actor.

While I dont consider them masterpieces the reboot prequel of Xmen had moments of greatness. Mainly when it involved Fassneto. Like First Class scenes where he chases down Nazi survivors in Argentina. Bro that scene is godlike. “Was sind Sie? I am Frankenstein monster”. The speech by the end at the beach too. Even though I think Apoc movie is fucking trash those 10 mins of Magneto before he is found by Apoc are really good too. “Is this what I am?” Logan was a nice surprise. Didnt expect the movie to turn out that way. If The Wolverine had eliminated Viper then Id probably had enjoyed it more

Testing that game was fun. It was great because they weren’t constrained to just the movie and was in development before the movie finished. can’t believe that was over 10 years ago.

Vincent Cassel in his prime could probably pull off a great Gambit. He already has the Frenchie accent to boot

I had no idea who that was, Googled him, yeah I could see the prime version of him pulling of Gambit easy.
That was a chimeric monstrosity of hellish proportions. Pre hellish monstrosity Wade Wilson was closer. Deadpool and that thing never deserve to be in the same sentence or even the same paragraph. Fortunately DP2 literally fixed the past.
