- My eyes welled the fuck up when everyone came in Strange’s Portal to join Cap. All the heroes showing up one by one, then they open shitloads more portals and damn near brought the entire armies from all the older films. One of the sickest intro/entry scenes out there.

I didnt see all the movies from earlier in the MCU. Can anyone tell me who all the armies were that turned up? I got Wakandans, Asgardians, Dr Strange Crew and… thats about it… Who else was there? There were some samurai looking dudes. Would appreciate it.
I was planning on writing a relatively lengthy treatise on the good and bad stuff this movie had to offer but this does it well:
All in all decent sendoff even with certain dumb and unnecessary plot and character elements strewn in.

Thanos was the ultimate villain for this massive arc they’ve had since 2009, and I feel any new villains would just feel like Thanos 2.0. Are there some good villains or arcs they can pursue?

Thanos isn’t even that powerful of a villain honestly. The infinity gauntlet gives him most of his powers. I’m not saying he’s weak by any means but they severely nerfed Thanos in the MCU.
Heavy rumor is that they are either going to do Secret Wars (skrulls) or Annihilus next as the big baddy.
Depending on how they introduce Mutants and the F4 they could have the brotherhood of mutants, maybe Mister Sinister or Doctor Doom as the over arching baddy as well.
Or someone with power cosmic who wants to correct all the shit Thanos and Cap fucked up.
There’s A LOT of different ways they can go from here. They just built Thanos so well in the MCU to make him seem like the ultimate evil in the universe when he’s just the tip of the iceberg

No that was it, the various tribes of Wakanda, all the Sorcerers aligned with Dr. Strange and folk fro New Asgard. I didn’t see any Guardians folk beside the Guardians themselves made the trip. Frankly that would have been the perfect place to sneak in a cameo from Agents of Shield or the Netflix shows but fucking contracts and Marvel TV bullshit.
