i think when (yeah when) marvel vs capcom comes out for 360/ps3 we can look forward to downloading and swapping characters online
i always knew it was gonna happen, too much of an opportunity to pass up

Pretty much if they made a new marvel vs series with capcom they need to give capcom a REAL ROSTER instead of the mess they gave them in Mvc2. I mean yea the game is mainly broken because those 4 characters dominate the game and the other fighters don’t have as great of a chance as them. So they just abuse priority to it’s FULLEST. There’s characters in capcom that can give those top 4 characters problems if they added them. Characters like Jedah, demitri, Dante etc… And for marvel the list is CRAZY… People like Bishop, Thor, Ghost Rider, Pheonix and many more. But don’t just put those characters in there and have it like “OMG THEY LOOK SO COOL” (Just like characters in mvc2 such as thanos who can’t do anything cause they took his gems away) And then have no good moves that makes them survive in the game.
The last game (mvc2) they added too many street fighter characters that can’t do ANYTHING besides cammy. I mean what the heck is Dan supposed to do against people shooting lasers and missiles out all day. >_> I’m actually suprised Mvc2 has lasted as long as it did with so many limitations of characters, but I guess we had to live with it lol!
And yes for the love of everything that makes sense (MVC3 SHOULD NOT BE 3D LOL) Leave that to tekken and soul calibur please…
Agreed. Though I love Arc System Works I’d like to see other developers show their styles of designs then just them.

What do you think it’ll take for Capcom to get the Marvel license back? And do you think they will ever get it again?
Have runaway success with Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter HD Remix.
^ More so a fighting games in general having a success this year more fighting games are being released this year than in the last two years in the U.S.
If it comes out in the us it needs to be bought… Sf4, Sc4, SFHD, and whatever else.

And on the news, I’m glad to see something escape the clutches of EA (though still waiting for BioWare to change their minds…and for Activision to do something with James Bond) I was actually rather interested in the new fighter. EA Chicago were a talented group, and the game looked good, though very nontraditional.
I would love to see Capcom pick up the rights, but Marvel and Capcom will need to be on mutual terms…and from what I heard they didn’t leave each other happily.
Hopefully wwhoever gets the lisence will make Nemesis a long forgotten horror forever, and bring back what we love about Capcom’s Marvel Fighters.

Hmmm. I think the better choice for Capcom would be to avoid coining MvC3, and going with Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter 2, or something of the such…
The possibility of a new marvel vs game after so many years, and capcom would limit themselves to sf chars because why??
regardless of the choices of characters, it would make sense to hae much fewer than in mvc2 this time.
We need Dante and the Godhand dude in a vs game. Also, a playable Arthur from Ghosts ‘n’ Goblins would be awesome. It would be hilarious if they used his old-school sprite Morrigan style.
Damn, am I the only one that wants like, a 1000 characters in this? Come on, you guys know you always wanted to have a marvel vs capcom that had almost all the characters from each specific license. If only MVCVS3 would be a reality…
