Since we don’t have any of our top 2 players, we’ve decided to cancel out their top two, which is logical and reasonable. Unless sanford/wong was distributed to each team would it be fair, but that would definitely take all the fun out of the whole concept.

I think this issue came up earlier in the thread and deus pretty much summed up our feelings…(1st page i believe). I wouldn’t feel right including all the dips in this for 100 when wong/sanford are included because we made this money match on that stipulation(that they wouldn’t be included). I would play them individually for money, but i don’t think ANYONE, or team, would take that bet. Yeah, whatever, you can say im making more excuses, but we clearly stated this in the beginning of the thread, what the stipulations are, and ec agreed. So i don’t see what the problem is. We’re not claiming to be the better coast, it’s safe to say ec is better than wc overall. heh.

what do you think we’re trying to do? Travel across the nation to try and make money? lol. I dunno how much the dips spent last year, but i spent hella money. Even if i win all my money matches the best i can do is come out even, and that would require perfection. We like ec, the tournament isn’t even that important to us as just seeing some dope ass ppl again and hanging out with ec. They showed us hospitality like no other, and the least we could do is participate in their event again. They make the game more exciting and worth playing. If you want to see sanford/wong/duc in the event, why don’t you set it up? Why don’t you pay for ducs airfare/entry fees? Why should we be obligated to include people just to make it a more symbolic event? So why don’t you get the fuck off our back and give us some slack for travelling, and for trying to make ecc, the best tournament in the world, more fun than it already is. I don’t understand your logic. Please do not post again unless you’re willing to contribute money of some sort towards the event or making it better.

I’m glad to see you are excited about the event, as are we, but you insulting us doesn’t get us anywhere. Bill did in fact address this issue on the 1st page why they weren’t included, and it was an easy choice. At the end of the day, wong/sanford are on another level, esp when compared to wc. I don’t think a team assembled of the best players of 10-15 ppl could even beat them(by themselves). So we decided to make this event excluding them, after all yipes did place higher than me @ evo. So it’s not like some scrubs are doing a 5 v 5, x got top 3 at evo before that, josh got top 2 @ ecc and top 5 @ evo, and last but certainly not least d.hyo got 75th @ ecc with a stellar display of excellence in his pools.
