i read that earlier , just with them saying storm is joining the team leaves me wierded out she wont be mercN people or allowing it…if they are gonna show a dark side of storm with some umphh to get the job done, i just dont see how i can be a blacks ops crew with her there, but i will give it a shot… reason out of all them new titles thunderbolts seems like it will be more of a xforce title
I like how Storm had pretty much the shortest stint on an Avengers team EVER, especially if you factor in actual Storm appearances as an Avenger. Wow that was a well planned move Bendis. :rolleyes:
The Phoenix power ranger xmen vs avengers, im sure was pushed on everyone…Only astonishing xmen has been known to never get sucked into the crossover events thing, and the xmen has kept doing its own thing, daredevil just got in the new avengers and the whole fear it self non sense ,then they went ape shit crazy, im sure alot had plans for there comics that did not involve this, since they just did the fear it self nonsense, then the whole lets mix match and redue everything got implanted in there, every writers shit got thrown out the window on 2 back to back big events that both have sucked
Which I can almost buy if Bendis wasn’t one of the actual writers on Avengers vs. X-Men who knew this thing was coming way ahead of time. I’d say it’s more about the ‘Marvel Now!’ stuff being Marvel’s answer to DC’s Reboot that is forcing a lot of things if anything.
Still if you put Storm as an Avenger, even for just one issue you can, oh I don’t know. Do SOMETHING with the character…
Both Avengers books have lacked any sort of direction for a long time. Bendis is definitely burned out. The only quality stuff he is putting out now is Ultimate Spider-Man. Spider-Men was brilliant too. His X-Men stuff is going to blow just like AvX #11 did.

It really annoys me that they just made Bishop a straight up bad guy. At least do him like he was before, where he was doin bad stuff but he wasn’t necessarily wrong for doing it.
I don’t agree with this mentality. It’s kind of sad to see comic book readers (fans?) think so little of the comic book medium. You reap what you sow, though - I guess that’s why we’ve got Daniel Way writing a Thunderbolts comic with the Punisher and Deadpool.
I had to drop Ultimate xmen…it was good but so fucking slow…seemed it was never gonna get anywhere, always felt like a half comic for 3.99$ Dominican spiderman the same
