Five years ago I was for DC then the next five years i gravitated towards Marvel because they have the writers and concepts that got me Interested, and I Figured it’s nice to have other heroes now share the spotlight that the X-Men whored unto themselves so much in the 90’s… I Loved Civil War’s Premise in that it makes ALL Superheroes untrusted equally (as oppposed to just Mutants which is IMO Stupid, and every explanation i heard to justify that no matter how simple or complex always falls on it’s face) although I hated it’s Timing (why have the people of 616 smarten up only NOW[then])
Secret Invasion I thought was executed poorly but it did lead to Dark Reign which was intriguing and I Loved Dark Avengers (Sentry beating Molecule Man was priceless)
Then we get 3.99 all the time
Then I started to realize they were flooding the market
Then More chars gets killed off indeed
And indeed where Heroic Age was supposed to be the Breather we still got Shadowland and Chaos War (and their offsprings) which really didn’t impress me (and didn’t help since my wallet was very thin so yeah my bad there)
I’m gravitating towards DC again although it’s great to have missed on say, the New Krypton Fiasco and Grounded, I felt really bad about missing Morrison’s Batman run, Synder’s Detective run secret six, and the GL titles, my money could have been spent on those.
don’t get me wrong i still like Cap by Brubaker, DD by Waid, FF by Hickman, The Ultimate relaunch and will try Uncanny X-Force but i still think 3.99 is unjustifiable… especially if we even get 19-20 pages when IMO 22 isn’t enough for it.

Comic’s being 3.99 is lame too But I’ve dropped a plenty now, I use to spend 70-80 bucks im down to about 45 now.
You are right, you don’t know. Most of the history is still intact with a few minor changes, it’s just an easy way to get new readers into DC. Their are only about four titles if that set in the beginning of the Superheroes popping up. For the most part New 52 titles is just giving us a lot more that picks up where Brightest Day and stuff before Flashpoint left off while cleaning it up.
So its another major company crossover…
No, there is no big event, it’s just a bunch of new comics. Picking up from storylines related to events doesn’t make each individual comic an event in itself.
In Marvel news when does Wolverine & The X-Men drop? I have that, Uncanny and X-Force lined up to try and get back into the Mutant side of things.
That’s why i didn’t use events and renumberings or relaunches because both companies are guilty of both, and it’s almost a dying medium so comics have to attach itself to whatever gimmick they can to stay afloat.
I may be gravitating towards DC but that’s because marvel doesn’t have anything that interests me that much, i may change my mind.
But what I am not is someone saying
“I hate DC as much as the next guy” or replace DC with Marvel because to favor one company (which understandably everyone is entitled to of course if they prefer) does the whole industry a disservice.
not to mention miss out all the good stuff the competition has to offer.

"I think even the Clone Saga based on it’s general perception is still better than say All-Star Superman because my Favorite comics company makes it"
or
“I Feel Marvel as the sole comic company (I used them since if we go by numbers they REALLY are the dominant one) without competition would be better for the comics industry as a whole”
comes out on the 26th of this month.

So what Marvel books are worth picking up on my pull list i have Legacy, Uncanny(XM and XF), X23, DD, Thunderbolts (my brother loves man thing), WatXM when it drops. Im thinking about picking up more X books like Gen Hope, i got the Schism tie ins and the kids seemed interesting and X-Men because Domino is in it. Thinking about picking up the Wolverine, I picked up the last few and they were pretty good, and Daken (evil Wolvie son? why not) solos
the last arc for Wolverine was pretty messed up o_o. Jason Aaron has done a good job with Wolverine.
other non X titles that are worth picking up are Amazing Spider-Man, Captain America, Avengers Academy, etc
DC said in interviews (not sure who exactly) that the Crisis events never happened with the new 52. Biggest change they made was making Aquaman cool.
I haven’t heard that from an official source, and it’d be big news I would think. To be fair, Superboy Prime punching reality probably needed to be axed anyways.

[LEFT]Hulk vs Dracula #3 - The finale of the tie from Fear itself. Even Dracula himself was no amtch for serpernt hulk. It took raizo’s companion to learn a mesmerize technique as Betty to calm hulk dwn and break the curse. It was kinda corny how it only took seeing “betty” to break the serpents curse of hulk. But hey thats bond they have I guess.[/LEFT]
Uncanny Xforce #16 - Archangel finally gets his hands on Psylocke to be his “queen of Death” by inserting the LIfe seed in her. Alot of fights happen in this chapter. Even have Iceman form the other dimension come and fight Deadpool and the bunch. It was a good read.
Xmen Regenesis #1 - It pretty much covers Logan and scott going to random mutants and preset their cause why they should be with them. Why all this is happening they are prtrayed cavemens with primitive weapons of their counterpart self. In the end you see the big split
of the Xmen. Nothing alot really happen, since I and alot ofpeople knew already who goes where and what ever since that leaked pics came out months ago. If you dont know then this is a good start.
Future Foundation #10 - Not alot happened in this chapter. Everyone jst came out from passing through the Inhuman eldrac door way. In the end we see Thing come back with extra muscle cap/ironman/hawkeye. Also Ronan is shown bringing a full force of army to Attilan.
