They usually say around this year’s con when next year’s will be, but some years it just turns out to be a tentative date. Mid October most likely.

I checked the dates and the last 2 years have been Oct while before that was Feb and April, so now they stick to Oct ?

Wow it was that long ago? Time flies I swear. Good times! CTF is no longer around so no more arcades for us. Capcom does bring fighters to the con at least.
Just hope that Vergil and Rocket Raccoon will be playable in the UMvC3 build they bring this year. I played Doctor Strange and Nemesis at the NY Fight Club event a while back.

Quick rundown of the books I read recently:
New Avengers 16:
So what, Daredevil’s an Avenger now? That sort of goes against what Bendis wrote waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the first issues of New Avengers.
I personally see Daredevil as an honorary member TBH.
Daredevil #4:
Great issue, I like how they show Matt balancing his lawyer life and his Daredevil exploits. The ending’s a nice cliffhanger though XD
Ultimate X-Men #1:
Looks like it’s just setting things up, so i hope it picks up soon.
Schism #4:
Cyclops bringing up Jean was odd and out of place IMO; WTF did she have to do with any of this? Why do I feel like no ones knows how to write Wolverine ATM?
Captain America #3:
Great issue as always, looks like this arc will end either in #4 or 5.
I read an article that said during the writers meeting, whoever wrote that issue ad-libbed the script and specifically that scene and everyone went crazy for it. I’m of the opinion that it just didn’t go over well on paper. It’s purpose was to present the source of the built up tension and conflict over the years between the two and having Cyclops finally get it off his chest. I like the idea but as I said, I don’t think it was executed correctly.
After schisms…Wolverine opens up this establishment away from Utopia( if theres still one.)

I’m intrigued by the new X-men status quo. I hear Schism isn’t very good, but I’m interested enough to check out Wolverine & the X-Men (who’s writing the other title?) plus I love me some Bachalo.

Wow at Wolvie naming the school after Jean. Seems like a big FU to Cyclops. Gotta say as slow as Schism was, the second half of #4 may have just made up for it.
I’m really far behind on the Spidey side of Marvel. I’m gonna try to get caught up starting with Spider Island and go from there.
Looks like they’ve added the few missing issues from SI to the iPad app. I can’t say enough how convenient that app has been for me. There’s no way I’d be able to read the majority of this stuff without it.
Ah well if you’re trying to get caught up with Spider Island you’re probably gonna end up reading a few issues of Venom
Hopefully I like what I read and stick with it ^^^
