Just looked at the January releases. Mighty Avengers getting no love in the Siege event. How is this the biggest Avengers event if the best current Avengers book isn’t a part of it, opinion of course.
Initiative and Mighty are awesome, I find New Avengers to be lame and lacking in Avengery goodness, how Spider-Man and Mockingbird are supposed to take on intergalactic threats, definitely too weak of a roster for them to be the main avengers. Only character with much power there is Ms. Marvel. Dark is cool but too tied to Dark Reign/Siege being that without those two events the book would kind of not exist as well as being $4 dollars for a standard 32 pgs, I can’t call this one that great.
and in response to Apathy, I do like Fraction on Uncanny, not a big fan of the artist though. Legacy however is the better book, needs more Cyclops though, but don’t listen to me I’ve been a Cyclops fan since before he took a shower in Chuck Norris sweat and become DA BOSS.
Dark Reign The List: Hulk was dope! Banner and Ms. Hand trading technological blows against each other, using their brains to get machines to attack one another ha ha! Ended with a pretty big cliffhanger too.

They wound up covering Banner with Gamma Radiation particles. If he does transform then Skaar will finally get to kill Hulk like he always wanted to. He wants to kill Hulk, not Banner.
It also includes a reprint of Amazing Spider-Man #14 by Lee and Ditko. The very first appearance of the Green Goblin and Hulk has a cameo in that story. Nice! :tup:
DP & Herc team up looks to be golden.
Speaking of which the Thorcules story arc was great IMO.
Now if only I can stop thinking ‘HercuThor’ everytime I want to mention this story arc =_=.
Oh and X-Men 228 was great too, and I loved Acuna’s art in it. Though WTF kinda X-name is ‘Bling!’? (Yes WITH THE ‘!’)
I would like to see a back-up story of Victoria Hand’s past.It seems during this point of Dark Reign,everytime Osborn pulls her chain she barks.Dark Reign:The List Daredevil looks pretty interesting.I read the preview of it & they way Diggle’s writing it,it’s like he fix that wasn’t broken in Bru’s run.
I recall Molecule Man sitting on the throne as the leader possibly, Mephisto, Enchantress, a few more. It’s not the Demon Council - Mephisto, Blackheart, Hella, Satanish, Dormammu - so prolly another group. Cabal, Illuminati, Demon Council, boy Marvel characters seem to love forming little secret knitting groups lately…
That can’t be right. Molecule Man while extremely powerful was never much more than a pawn of others super villains and sometimes he was a super hero. Either it’s an illusion/mind game or Bendis is showing once again that he doesn’t read Marvel Comics.
Sano, are you reading Incredible Hercules via TPB? Cuz if so, I recommend picking up the upcoming Thorcules TPB when it comes out, it was fantastic :tup:
