Maybe back when he was doing one of the Superman books a couple years back before they moved him over to Superman/Batman. Other then that I have no idea when he hasn’t had some very good artist having his back on projects.

Jeph Loeb wrote Commando AND Teen Wolf? I officially can’t hate him anymore. Just STRONGLY dislike and we never read any of his work

Hmm, that’s an interesting analogy. I have to rethink this now. I have to rethink this. We have to see how K-Mart and Chandler turn out in several years when they’re at the end of their careers. If those guys become what Joe Smith has been for the past few seasons, then I think Jeph Loeb could definitely be a Kenyon Martin type. In his latter years, I wanna see if Loeb becomes a living, breathing, tradeable expiring contract with “veteran leadership.” If he just blows out another knee and retires ignominiously, then we may have to continue the debate. I think I just like calling Loeb “Half-Man, Half-A-Series.” In fact, I think I will stop referring to him by his real name from now on, despite the fact that his nickname is longer than his full name.
I think Daniel Way could be the Darko Milicic of mainstream comics.

Preview of the fist five pages of New Avengers 50. The New Avengers talk about the Dark Avengers on TV. The dialog made me laugh, a lot!

Can’t wait for Immonen to take over the art on this book.

@Sano- Now that…kinda came out of nowhere. Will wait and see what this’ll result in but they should make the art resemble the MiniMarvel ones IMO, not that weird midget big-eyed design they were shown as in the book.
This also looks to be a comedy cartoon…
Yeah besides Wolverine and the X-Men they have an Iron Man cartoon coming in a few weeks and an Avengers cartoon in the works. My guess is that Marvel Super Hero Squad will be something like the Batman Brave and The Bold cartoon (the style, anyway) only worse… Guess we’ll see though.
Anyone notice the two overly sexy panels with Ms. Marvel bending over to watch T.V. with an equally sexy Mocking Bird right behind her while Bucky sits behind them pondering “something”?
On page 3 it looks like they used the same panel 3 times, only changed the dialog. I guess they had their eyes glued to the TV along with Spider-Man’s finger. :lol: LOL team books are hard, I’m sure artists have gone insane trying to fit so many characters in the same panels.
Bendis comics are forever loaded with stat panels (See pretty much any issue of Ultimate Spider-Man…Bagley wore that copy machine out).
Hell, Invincible is loaded with them. They even poked fun at it in an earlier issue.
I can’t fathom why I’ve seen so many comments about them for this particular preview, though.
