ADDF = air dash down forward
I CANNOT for the life of me get Iron Man’s infinite combo going… well, infinite. I’m doing it on a regular sized char and just simply jumping in with the HK u/f and then holding u/f while I do a basic infinite combo: lp, lp, lk, hp however I’m lucky if I can get through 2 cycles of it.
I don’t know if it’s a timing thing or whatever, but I just can’t seem to get it! I’ve been trying for several hours and no go am I supposed to be doing the entire button combination as quickly as possible? is there a link pause between cycles? I’m a little annoyed that I can’t seem to get the timing
So real noob question here. I’ve been playing SF4 and am just trying to get into Marvel, and I notice that I can’t use my shortcuts from SF4 here, like double tapping down/forward for a dp. Does Marvel not have execution shortcuts, or am I just really off today?
I had this problem too, just make sure once you end a rep you start it again right when IM bounces off the ground.
Do the entire sequence quicker and if they get very low to the ground instead of doing the infinite do
(very slowly while jumping) lk, mk, up hp
then go back to the infinite.
God I suck so bad at this game. Admittedly I’ve only been really playing fighters since SFIV console. But between switching from SFIV, to BB, to SFIV (yay trying to IAD in SF) to Mahvel… I really need to focus in on a game.
Anyway its still hella fun even though I’m awful at it. Any other new players want to get some games in later today?
Fill a bathtub up with water. Plug in toaster to nearest wall. Depress lever. Step in bathtub, drop toaster into water.
I just picked up this game a few hours ago and I’m definitely not pringles. Are they any kind of special ticks/buffers for command throws or should I just pretty much ignore throws in this game?
is there any good page/wiki/guide for combos/team strats?
the srk character forums are a mess … the srk wiki is not even half complete/parts are completely not understanable without pre knowledge.
Pretty excited about picking up this game. I had played it in the past, but that was before I learned, generally, how to play fighting games.
Anyways, I really like Blackheart and Cammy. I was wondering what people’s thoughts were on Blackheart/Cammy/CapCom. I know usually Cable/Sent go in there in place of Cammy, but given my past experiences with Cable/Sent I really don’t want to play them. Blackheart seems good at controlling the space immediately infront of him, while Cammy/CapCom cover the air at various angles.
Not top tier, but just wondering if the build makes sense. Or if there might be better combinations with the two.
Whats the best team for a pad player to play as? Or at least a team that is the least combo reliant?
Go team scrub
this. i don’t know where to start with this game, i’m completely new.
Unless you have the opponent cornered, and unless you are Magneto or Sentinel it’s usually not worth going for it.
Thanks alot…i’m definitely gonna need these tips
im confused as to how tri jumping works in something like mags ROM. No matter what input i use it doesn’t seem like mag has an Air dash. and the combos seem to call for a air dash d/f. Is this referring to something that isn’t actually and air dash?
Bash
Use DF and both punches.
Tri jump - sj then DF AD LK/ Hk/ whatever
The AD notation always refers to air dashing.
I’m trying to get a training plan together to level up my game…
What else should I be focusing on? Any input would be welcome.
I’ve chosen Cable(AAA)/Sent(ground)/Spiral(not sure which to use, usually projectile assist) as my team. I love using Spiral swords with Sentinel ground assist, and I usually dump my meter with Cable or Sentinel, very rarely with Spiral.
