So I’m thinking we should weight wins and losses for me and ooPo’s next money match based on tier lists. Every one of my wins is worth one and a half of his wins. I think that’s fair.
Just do something to make him really uncomfortable before the match begins.

If you don’t like where your character is on the tier list, pick a different character.
Honda’s 10-0 vs everyone on the only tier list that matters (the one in my heart. Also the one where one actually plays Honda correctly)
So the only difference in Oicho throws are range and damage, - range and + damage as they increase in strength. Frame data is always the same, even for the EX. Whose idea was this?! There is no reason to ever do an Oicho that is not L, unless you seriously need 30 extra damage OR that extra 0.02 units of reach the EX gives you.
WTF I HAVE A TARGET COMBO THAT MEANS I CAN GET USE OUT OF THAT OVERHEAD STOMP??? I also just saw a pretty cool vid where somebody (I wanna say Mike Ross) canceled the OH stomp into oicho. Yomi level ∞

Just do what I do: only play at tournaments. That way you have the illusion of improving and you never get burned out!

My knowledge is SF is fairly limited, so I am oversimplifying things. But basically, the only way I know how to play Honda is block forever, and maybe press a button. Sometimes. Kinda like this:

Oh N is like, “any button”. Gotcha. Yeah that’s Honda! And oh man am I ever jealous of how much chip he did in vanilla. There probably should have been a lot more chip in that video but I’m not sure if headbutt or headbutt wins the headbutt x headbutt fight. I’ve definitely been trying to do like a combo’s worth of damage just in chip when I play lately, it’s an important part of Honda’s game.

Nah Mike’s Honda is great but he uses a lot of FADCs and trickier combos (hands into hands) that are just beyond me. I’m playing zero-effort Honda right now for sure, and the stuff he use doesn’t actually look too hard. I’m not gonna worry about it for FFI though, might try to level up for Low Tide. I’m more about inching forward with nj.HP, basic jabhands-or-s.HK-or-oicho mixup and just throwing hands all day in the corner. I think anyway. I also spam buttslam too much; I watched a bunch of MR vids where he never used it once, but I’m watching some of his Godsgarden vids from last year and he seems to pretty safely use it as an ambiguous cross up after oicho. Good to know.
