And that’s why I post here! Oh yeah, anybody wanna bring me a 360 controller so I can try my adapter? Once I know how well it works I’ll decide if I’m buying just a standard controller or not.

It took 1985 ranked matches, but I finally got the Tenpeat achievement. Ended up with a 12 win streak.
I’ve also managed to figure out how to play at B rank without losing too often. Hovering around 4600-4800 BP now.
I’m considering picking up a Hitbox controller when I get some money in the fall, any strong opinions or stern warnings about that? Apparently they’re made with a form of the Cthulhu board but not a dual-console one, I’d want to swap that for a dual-console if it’s even possible. Coming from 10 years of off-and-on play w/ keyboard right up to vanilla (I still think I’m better on KB than on stick) I think the hitbox would be brilliant for me, and no more friggin’ accidental jumping.
Also, totally showing up tonight, so everybody else should too. I can’t believe how bad I miss SF already.
Mal: You would need an IMP and a hacked 360 Pad for dual console support. The yucky looking WWE pads are perfect for destroying the faceplates to 
So, I made these Marvel Posters. Had a good laugh making them, I think the Akuma/wolvie one is the best.
Saw them earlier on Facebook, Kyle. They’re awesome. I like the best friends one the most, as well.
GGs last night guys, adapter seems pretty good.
Few things I took note of though, couldn’t backwards teleport with kicks very well, or finish off my combos with tatsus as Akuma, after I went home I tried my black controller instead of the silver one, the d-pad is slightly better since it feels less like a solid mass compared to my silver one and allowed me to do these things I was having trouble with yesterday.
I tried the adapter on my PS3 and I didn’t catch a single dropped input after 5 minutes of combos and demon flips(Inputs on in training room), I could also land my combos into sweeps almost as consistently as I could on the PS3 controller, and I bet I could land them just as consistently if I got my plinking down with the new shoulder buttons.
TL;DR version: EVERYTHING IS FINE AND DANDY WITH THE ADAPTER, WILL PRACTICE WITH BLACK PS2 CONTROLLER NOW.
If I played Ken, I’d abuse the shit out of his forward kick thing. It seems rather useful.

Some opponents I ran into during ranked play last night:
- Blanka player using turbo to do the electricity thing after every move. Literally. He got to B rank doing this apparently.
- Dee Jay player walking backwards and shooting that sonic boom thing for the entire match. I think he wanted to be Guile.
- A personal favorite: A guy playing Ken/Ryu/EvilRyu that very obviously ‘buffered’ his dragon punches. Or he was having a seizure.
Ranked matches are so random sometimes. I need more consistency in my opponents please.
I have found a reliable setup for Makoto crossup instant air axe kick. Nobody blocks this thing, it’s crazy looking. It might be character specific though, so I fully expect to get smashed as I try it on everyone :eek:
Why don’t you just make your way to FFI in September and show it off there?
