Whoa, I thought I was the only person in Halifax who played fighting games, holy crap
There’s a pretty good scene in Halifax! I make the trip up there whenever there’s a tournament. Check out The Last Game Store (someone wanna hit him with an address) , a lot of players hang out there.
I was in a similar situation here in Saint John about 2 years ago. I didn’t think anyone else played fighting games around me, untill I met Adrian. Since then, I’ve met a bunch of players from New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. So I really recommend you get out and check out your local scene.

Just a heads up, there’s a small scene for every fighting game in Halifax, but you’ll find the most competition with AE.
Yeah i was looking and found that last game store, me and my cousin are gonna walk there on monday, i cant believe i lived so close to that place and had no idea

Looks like Dante is getting some move input changes in Ultimate, you now double tap the attack button instead of putting in the motions again, so his Acid Rain is now QCF+L,L instead of QCF+L, QCF+L. That’s pretty cool, it’ll change the timing of some of his combos up, but for the most part make them a little easier.

650cdn ( 533 us) round trip, 1 stop each way was NJ/Newark got em on sale via continenial
then my hotel share was like 250 or so I usually budget around 1K+my visa as a backup each year so far its worked out fine. Sharing your room with a few people really does work out for everyone.
