Hello everyone! Due to sporadic and unpredictable attendance, plans, and a lack of spare time, I’ve decided not to have casuals at my place this Wednesday. I know that’s probably a bit of a drag, since AE just dropped, but they will be back on next week.
If you wish, I can host a night on Thursday or Friday, if you let me know! I don’t mind.
However, while I am here, it does seem like attendance has been declining. While I love having people over, am making more time personally for SF now that AE is out, and am happy to share my space, it does take a large chunk of my small available free time away from me. It’s not worth me wasting a day if I don’t even know if people are going to show up.
Whether this is an issue of lack of promotion, conflicts of schedules, or some other nonsense, I would like to know what the issue is, so I can fix it, or stop having the nights.
It seems like people are having issues if “X” game is not being played on my main screen. I have two screens available, and I can make sure that different games are being played. I would like to instate that SF will always be on my big screen, unless everyone in attendance agrees that a different game wants to be played. The second, smaller screen is a free for all. If you want more screens or more games, it’ll be on you guys to provide either a fat PS2 power cord to me, or your own screen.

Ryu’s axe kick is an overhead when ex’d. Not positive on Oni’s ground pound thing. I have no idea about his ultras? Luck?
You can land either of them off srk fadc or from ex dash punch thing.

What’s up with that two-palm-push move Yun or Yang have? One guy was spamming it and I couldn’t do anything but watch.
Can you land Oni’s full ultra off the EX dash crossup? I can’t get it to work… only get partial animation.

I’m guessing it builds meter.
The palm builds meter insanely quickly and its hitbox is out there forever, it’s a pretty gdlk move. Not to mention you can cancel it into Genai Jin for some scary free damage.
Everything I tried against it got me hit. Jumping kicks, jabs, sweeps, whatever. So I just stand there, building my own meter.
A projectile would help!
