After the SSF4 tournament, I got thinking how diverse the character usage was. Which was awesome. I saw Blanka, Makoto, Dan (wtf Dan at a tournament!?), Dhalsim, Balrog, Dudley, Bison, Juri, T.Hawk, Guile, Zangief, Honda, Ibuki, Hakan, Gen, Rufus, Vega, Dee Jay, Abel, Chun Li, Seth, Gouken, Sagat, Rose, and only the odd Ryu and Ken.
IMO that is pretty cool.

Just imagine what would have happened with the jeggings. Think about it.
Wingman: The Hali crew is pretty interesting with very little main overlap. It is almost like everyone is looking for their own individuality - “Oh, I can’t be vega, zerojay plays him, can’t play Sagat, Dryph has him covered” Even I am thinking about picking up a new character, and one that no one plays - C. Viper.
Nelson was telling me that KevonTay plays Viper pretty well when he’s playing on a PS3 pad. I messed around with her a little bit, but couldn’t do much. I can’t execute all those fancy combos.
You should pick up Sakura! She’s gonna be pretty good once AE comes out.
We have a good Sakura player. He unfortunately couldn’t make it to the tourney though.
I don’t think someone playing that character makes the other person think twice before picking said character up. I mean, I doubt it’ll make any of us not want to play Yun when AE drops.
Everyone’s going to try Yun and Yang, and I can’t wait to play as them and see how their combos feel. Then I’ll have to decide if I like Cammy’s insanely high frame advantage normals and jab pressure strings, or Yun/Yang’s meter less dive kicks to keep driving people insane. This is a tough decision.
Not playing a char because somebody else plays that char is pretty silly. My advice if you are having issues picking is to watch videos like a mofo or any char that tickles your fancy, and fiddle with him/her. Do this with several chars in fact then go from there.
With regards to the most recent post…AE is removing Cammy’s retarded meterless dive kick nonsense if im not mistaken and turning into it an apex of the jump only move…which should have been done light years ago. I believe she is supposed to have even more advantage on normals or something as well.
