DEAR GOD.
There must be some serious overhauls going on.
Anyhow, I didn’t mention earlier, I’ll hit up the Sydney personage to come in here when he is actually on. His computers are a tad crazy at the moment, and don’t like to work. I’m sure you guys up there could meet up now and then, anyhow. I’m sure he’s itching for some SF action, from the sounds of it.
Slowdown = Sentinel leak
Green Goblin confirmed for DLC!
Jill and Shuma are the only confirmed anything
WRONG! It’s been confirmed that I am awesome. Next question?
This thread is far too quaint. FUCK Y’ALL.
Which one of you gentlemen were down in Calgary for Canada Cup? I met a few of you guys and might as well keep in touch.
Also Brozen I am surprised to see you not posting in caps in this thread.
Still holding out for Psylock and Tron myself
None of us were down for the Canada cup. We Maritimers are exclusive assholes, and ignore the existence of Newfoundland (We grudgingly allow them into the Atlantic Canada group of provinces, but that’s it!). But… uh, on a more serious note, they have their own thread.
Trons already a char…
I’m butthurt there’s no AH3 at Evo 2011. Where’s the loli’s???
So what’s the true cost of MvC3 after all the addons and DLC?
Can I buy a version that only has the characters I want to play?
Tron = :d::mp: Assist, so no I’m afraid Tron isn’t in the game yet.
As for Arcana it doesn’t surprise me EVO’s getting more commercial every year. Leaving older games behind. Which is a real shame considering most of the stuff being released is crap.
You know, I’m not a huge fan of Mortal Kombat, but I’m kind of excited/curious as to how that’ll go at EVO, or even in general.
I told myself I definitely wasn’t going to buy it on release, but I think the more I think about it, the more I sort of want to. I don’t know why. It just seems like they’re actually making everything less…uniform. I’m curious as to what the grappler type characters will play like. I can forgive the clunkiness.
I don’t think they made an entirely bad choice in game selection at all. This “crap” is really all we have. Of course, we can’t just keep playing the old stuff in tournaments that are designed to bring in new people every year. Do note there are huge open play areas. I’m certain these things are being enjoyed around, regardless.
Also, Dan, I’m pretty sure they don’t have a pay-per-character option. =P
Quaint. I don’t feel quaint today. D=
In completely random terms, I want to die, because my eyeball itches in such a way that I will destroy my eye makeup and look…terrible if I rub it. Instead, I will pull my eyelid and look stupid while probably not fixing anything.
I tried posting in caps lock but it just turned everything lower case, and I hate full lower case typing so I decided the only other option was to type properly.
If there’s a simple solution tell me, SO I CAN CAPS LOCK THE FUCK OUT OF THIS THREAD.
Thanks for leading me to this thread Ophie! :tup:
btw, I’m the person she was talking about in her earlier posts.
Guru = Legit.
Real talk. And stuff.
I actually feel the same way about MK9. Personally, I never really thought the games were really deep and the newer games have been heavily frowned upon by the fighting community. Which I don’t blame them for given the retarded glitches and dumb game mechanics. Really, a good deal of the things that ever appealed to anyone was the gimmicky stuff like the gore and fatalities or the character customization which usually appealed to the more casual gamers{in terms of fighting games anyway}.
I’m honestly not very faithful in Midway’s capabilities to make good fighting games, but I’ll give Midway the benefit of the doubt with this game. It looks like it has potential. If it turns out to be a derpy piece of shit like SCIV turned out to be at EVO 08, I’m sure we’ll never hear of it again. Hopefully, though, it manages to go through its gimmicky premise and be something truly worth playing.
I’ll probably end up playing Liu Kang or Shao Khan.
As for Evo, none of those games really surprise me. Personally, I think the main reason why AH3 isn’t in EVO{at the moment, anyway} is because the fact that no one who will be playing it hasn’t imported it from Japan and imports aren’t really popular enough to make a huge fighting scene out of it.
You could point out MB, however, MB has been around for years and more of a scene had developed for it prior to EVO. Whereas AH pretty much fucked up their scene by making AH2 a shitty port and AH3 just came out so you can’t really expect Westerners to jump all over it. Though in time, when more people play AH and perhaps when it gets localized, we’ll see it featured at EVO.
Falling behind. Bump In The Night
Alright, alright, alright, alright, alright, alright, alright, alright, alright, alright. I’m actually getting pretty hype for Marvel 3 now, god damn. I’m going to try and put a little more energy into this game then I did with Super 4.
