I want to answer any potential questions on the odd $7 tournament fee. There was some confusion last time between the previous organizer and the venue on how the venue fee would be handled, which resulted in our streamer Jackson Dang from Canadian Joysticks getting paid less than what was planned. He was fine with it as he was streaming to help the scene but we feel he should be rewarded more for all the hard work he does. $5 didn’t stretch enough to cover venue expenses and pay him so the price is now $7 with 10% of the pot going to Magus Works Productions, Jackson’s streaming project.
